Eternal inheritance

Col 1:12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light

We MUST give thanks  to the FATHER, because HE and HE alone has made it possible for us to be PARTAKERS of the INHERITANCE of the SAINTS in LIGHT.

The INHERITANCE.

Act 20:32  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

An inheritance among ALL them which are sanctified.

Jesus said- Act 26:18  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Receive- an inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (JESUS).

Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an INHERITANCE, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Eph 1:12  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Eph 1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE,
Eph 1:14  Which is the EARNEST of our INHERITANCE until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Eph 1:15  Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Eph 1:16  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
Eph 1:17  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of HIS INHERITANCE in the saints

Eph 5:5  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any INHERITANCE IN THE KINGDOM CHRIST and of GOD.

Heb 9:15  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of ETERNAL INHERITANCE.

1Pe 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:4  To an INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE and UNDEFILED, and that fadeth not away, RESERVED IN HEAVEN FOR YOU,
1Pe 1:5  Who are kept by the POWER OF GOD THROUGH FAITH UNTO SALVATION ready to be revealed in the last time.

Tell me…

…if you received a letter in the mail telling you that you have inherited something how would that make you feel? Excited, right?  You'd feel excited to know what the inheritance would be. Would the inheritance be money, lots of money, land, a house, a car, jewelry? The idea of receiving an inheritance is exciting in it own way. Some people know long before they get it that there is an inheritance on its way- when of course the one giving it to them dies.  Some grow up knowing they'll inherit their parents things- all of them. They have an expectation of what they'll receive. Does it please them? I don't know, I'm not one of those. No one will be giving me an inheritance, no one I know has one to give. I can only imagine how I'd feel.

We need to imagine. Let's imagine how we'd feel if out of the blue some long lost relative or even friend decided to give all their wealth to us, a huge sum of money.  You can do this can't you, imagine? Very few people, if any would feel disappointed in hearing this news. Most would be ecstatic to be given such an unexpected gift.

Now we have to take this a step further- to our INTERNAL INHERITANCE. We all have one.  NO ONE IS EXEMPT!

What that inheritance is, well, that's another story.

There are TWO inheritances we can possibly have.

One is the inheritance of eternal life with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

The other is the inheritance of non-existence.

Only two and we all have one or the other.

How often do you think about this inheritance you'll receive?  I personally believe that we should be thinking about it every single day of our lives.  While we live we actually get to choose the inheritance we'd like to receive.  We do.  We choose. And you know what? We choose it everyday.

 More on this tomorrow all by the grace of GOD.  This is something we need to study deeper. This is our inheritance we're discussing- our eternal inheritance.

ALL through HIS LOVE! All by HIS GRACE and MERCY! Please LORD please let our inheritance be eternity with YOU, not because we deserve it, because we don't, but because of YOUR love for us, help us love You as we should, please! Please LORD. Your will!

According to HIS glorious power

Col 1:10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Col 1:11  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Strengthened with ALL might- how? According to HIS GLORIOUS POWER. Unto ALL patience and longsuffering with JOYFULNESS.

We are only strengthened by HIS GLORIOUS POWER. When we imagine we strengthen ourselves we are giving credit where NO credit is due. It is the power of GOD that strengthens us. As we face trials and tribulations - and they come in many, many forms- and we somehow prevail, it isn't through our own power that we've done so, but through God's. Some trials and many tribulations are messy, horrible business and we struggle wildly, kicking and screaming as we endure them. Sometimes we despair that we'd ever make it through, but then somehow we do it, we are on the other side of those horrific obstacles life throws at us, and there we are given an amazing opportunity to praise God, to thank God for His mercy, His strength.  All too often  people come out the other side of things and they are eager to brag about how THEY overcame. They quickly collect their flesh badges- pride, arrogance, self-serving- and pin them on, never once realizing that they were given the strength to endure by God.

We must walk worthy of our LORD - we must increase our knowledge of GOD- we have to be strengthened with all might according to HIS GLORIOUS POWER. And that strength will give us patience, the patience we need in life because more and more people are losing the ability to have patience. That strength will enable us to be LONGSUFFERING- enduring all that we must, suffering all that we must whether it's a situation of our own making, or a situation of another's that we are called to be long suffering towards.  And we are strengthened to have this patience and longsuffering- JOYFULLY!

There are many who pat themselves on their backs because they believe they are patient and longsuffering but while they're doing that patting they're complaining endlessly about what they must have patience for, for what they must be long suffering towards. Their complaining negates their patience and long suffering. Sure, maybe they didn't show any complaints or signs of agitation during the situations and they believe that entitles them to a good back patting courtesy of their own hands. But the very essence of true patience and longsuffering means there is NO back patting involved whatsoever. There is NO complaining to third parties about the situations, again that negates the truth of the patience and long suffering.  We are strengthened by GOD to have true patience and long suffering, enduring our lives with joyfulness!  Something so many will admit is incredibly hard to do.

Endure life with joyfulness.

Just saying endure makes a situation sound instantly very trying, and that's what our lives are, trying, very, very trying. And to be able to endure them with JOYFULNESS- truly that is GOD GIVEN STRENGTH!

All by HIS grace and mercy, all through HIS love we must live! Seeking Him and His love, His strength daily, hourly, minutely!

All in Christ Jesus' love!

Walk worthy of the Lord

Col 1:10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God

This is the desire-

That we WALK worthy of the LORD unto ALL pleasing.
BEING fruitful in every GOOD WORK.
INCREASING in the KNOWLEDGE of GOD.

We live, we breath, we exist and because of this our lives are filled with actions. All but a very few in the grand scheme of things are busy day in and day out simply living in their own little world. I say all but a very few because there are some people who are paralyzed and their every move is made by another. The majority are busy though, even if their existence is boring, monotonous, mundane, they are committing actions - and their actions are their works and their works reveal a lot- but not all- about the way they believe.

We need to LIVE worthy of the LORD.
We must LIVE pleasingly for the LORD.
We have to LIVE being fruitful in good works for the LORD.
We must LIVE increasing our KNOWLEDGE of GOD.

Would the LORD be please with how you live? Seriously, you have to have some idea about that. We have to know otherwise why are people told to live this way if they can't know? That would make no sense whatsoever. We know whether or not we are increasing our knowledge of God, right? We know whether we are committing fruitful good works- works that our SAVIOR worked, living to reveal HIS FATHER. We live to REVEAL the sacrifice of our SAVIOR.  He came to SAVE US! And we must reveal this in our lives. When we reveal this- we are preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom- when we preach the Gospel of the Kingdom then Jesus our Savior is reveal and when our Savior is reveal the Father is revealed.  THIS is how we should live. Yet it is far from how most of us truly live.

We get so caught up in our existence here we neglect the very real truth of our future existence with our Savior.

If we lived as if our Savior would return for us tomorrow what would we do differently?
We are supposed to watch for His return. We are supposed to be ready. We are not supposed to live our lives in an ignorant stupor, but be prepared. If we do fall asleep we must do so be prepared. To prepare for our Savior's return we must live as He told us to live in His word. We must live as the Holy Spirit guides us to live. We must love Him, we must love others. We cannot neglect the actions we are to make here, the works we are to do, we have to live for our Savior now if we imagine we will truly one day live with Him forever.

In HIS LOVE!

Filled with the knowledge of HIS WILL

Col 1:7  As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
Col 1:8  Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
Col 1:9  For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Desire that you might be FILLED with the KNOWLEDGE of HIS WILL-  in ALL WISDOM and SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING.

Dan 4:35  And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth ACCORDING TO HIS WILL in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

He does according to HIS WILL- where? IN THE ARMY OF HEAVEN and AMONG the INHABITANTS of the EARTH.

NONE CAN STAY HIS HAND, or say unto Him,  WHAT DOEST THOU?

God's will - WILL be done. God's will is done in HEAVEN. God's will is done here on earth.

We have a part in all this because we can choose to FIGHT against God's will or desire God's will be done in our lives.  God's will cannot be stopped- but we choose whether or not to accept His will or our own.

Joh 7:17  If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Joh 9:31  Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Those who choose to not accept God as their Creator, their Redeemer, cannot expect God to hear them. Will He? Often times God does hear the cry of a sinner who is in a position to believe in Him and choose His will. But the sinner than wants NOTHING to do with God, let alone chooses to worship Him or do God's will, has NO reason to believe God will hear Him.

God will hear the voice of those who worship Him and seek to do His will. Does this mean everything they ask for will be given? Yes. It means they are trusting in God to know the end from the beginning and to know what His followers, His worshipers need. They will receive everything they ask for when they ask ultimately for GOD'S WILL to be DONE and not their own.

Act 22:14  And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.

Eph 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of HIS WILL,
Eph 1:6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Eph 1:7  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Eph 1:8  Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Eph 1:9  Having made known unto us the mystery of HIS WILL, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Eph 1:10  That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him

Heb 13:21  Make you perfect in every good work to do HIS WILL, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1Jn 5:14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS WILL, he heareth us

Psa 143:10  TEACH ME TO DO THY WILL, for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, WILL OF GOD.

Eph 5:17  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the WILL OF THE LORD IS.

Heb 10:36  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done THE WILL OF GOD, ye might receive the promise.

1Jn 2:17  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that DOETH THE WILL OF GOD  abideth for ever.

Desire that you might be FILLED with the KNOWLEDGE of HIS WILL-  in ALL WISDOM and SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING.

Is it any wonder the men of God DESIRE that others that are seeking Christ be FILLED with the KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL?

Being filled with the knowledge of His will in ALL WISDOM, and in ALL SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING. This gift is amazing. To be filled with the knowledge of HIS WILL. How often we desire to know the WILL of God. We falter, we worry, we wonder and but we can KNOW the will of God. The problem is not many want to know the will of God because it is contrary to their own will. They say they want God's will but when it interferes with their own selfish will they change their minds pretty quickly.

To be filled with the knowledge of God's WILL in all wisdom and spiritual understanding is the ultimate gift.

This is a gift to be prayed for, we all need to this, all of us! Less of our will more of God's- in fact - ALL God's will!

In His LOVE always!

Love the TRUTH

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2Th 2:5  Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
2Th 2:6  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They received NOT the LOVE of the TRUTH that they might be SAVED.

LOVE of the TRUTH.

Damned who believed NOT the TRUTH.

Truth. In a world filled with lie upon lie the truth still exists and will always exist even if it's only in a few people who believe in that truth.

You can call lies- truth and believe them as your truth, but that will not make them truth, but deception. People will be allowed to believe their lies as if they are truths because this is what their heart truly desires.

Are your truths really lies? How do you know? Deception is called deception because you are fooled into believing something that isn't true. Sometimes it's because people perfect the art of deception and use their skilled art of deceiving to truly make you believe something that isn't real. Other times there is a choice you make to ALLOW yourself to be deceived. You overlook inconsistencies in a story told. You look the other way when you realize something isn't quite right because you'd rather not face what that could mean. It might only be a flicker of knowledge, a tiny suspicion that is easily squashed, but it's enough for you to be a willing participant in the deception.

God will present the truth to all. That's right, to EVERYONE who lives the truth will be presented. Along with that truth a lot of lies will be offered by another source. Even though the lies will be swimming around us by the millions and the truth will be there alone by itself, it is unique enough to stand out to everyone if only for a moment- long enough to prick the conscience giving people time to either embrace or reject the truth.

You wouldn't think if fair would you? You'd call it a sham, the game is rigged so to speak. You're immersed in  a tank of fake 100 dollar bills and only one real 100 dollar bill is among the many and it's your job to snatch the real 100 dollar bill. In truth the real hundred dollar bill is larger, it's real color is infinitely brighter than the false ones, it stands out brilliantly so that you do have a fighting chance to grab the real one. When the game is up and you are allowed to see the real placed next to the false you can't believe you didn't recognize the real one- it really is LARGER by two times- double the size. It really is the real color of a dollar while all the others are a much faded color barely recognizable as that green dollar bill hue. So how did you miss the mark? How did you not recognize the true dollar? Were you caught up in the belief that it was going to be extremely hard to pick out the single bill? Did you allow yourself to believe that it would be so incredibly difficult that you didn't really look?

The TRUTH will stand out for EVERYONE to either receive or reject. No one will be able to say they were NOT given a chance to know the truth. In fact there will come a moment in time when everyone will be able to witness their rejection of the truth, and a lot of people will be shown how they rejected it time and time again, not just once. They will not be able to accuse God of not giving them ample opportunity to know the truth.

Love of the truth.

People love to say that the truth is subjective, that my truth might not be your truth, and that other person might still have another kind of truth.  We can believe that if we want to, but that goes along the same vein as this saying I've been caught up preaching myself in the past-  'As long as their hearts are in the right place it doesn't matter what they believe. God knows they're good people, He knows and won't fault them for not outright believing as the Bible teaches.'  Yes, I've said that and I've meant it, but then after being blessed with a 'prodigal son' experience I could no longer say that. I wanted to believe it because the friends I had were pagans, witches, and the like and they were super nice, loving, kind people. I couldn't for the life of me believe that God would condemn that sweet pagan who would lay down her life for a friend if need be. But in the end the TRUTH is the TRUTH and there are sweet, loving, and self-sacrificing devil worshipers- and that devil worship keeps them from the TRUTH in CHRIST JESUS the ONLY SAVIOR! Being mean and nasty isn't a prerequisite towards being deceived, towards being lost, towards being an enemy of God's. We'd love if that were true, it'd make things easier for us wouldn't it, to be able to point to all the evil people and say - see, they're not God's they're blatantly bad.  But there will be many people who we believe are brilliantly good people without a stain upon them because they never ceased to do good for others, but they will not have surrendered their hearts, their lives to their SAVIOR, Jesus Christ. Those amazing good people who appear to be better than a lot of so called Christ followers are truly serving themselves- the good they do will be done in their own names, not God's. The praise they received they'll award to themselves, not God. The humility they show will be a humble selfishness as they absorb the praise and use it to give themselves self-worth, not God-worth.  So while they might appear to be truly, honestly, wonderfully amazing people their hearts are not God's.

Can we judge ANYONE'S eternal life? NO! I'll say it again, NO!  We can only judge actions not the end results of those actions. The blatant sinner might be a secret confessor- repenting and asking forgiveness for their outward sins- something we never see. We might be witness to a struggling Christian engaged in a fierce battle with Satan while we sit back and judge wrongly. We CAN'T know the things God knows. While we can judge right and wrong actions- whether or not they'll result in condemnation is NOT within our realm of knowledge- it can't be!  We can ONLY hope and pray those we believe are far from Christ will come to know His saving grace before it's too late, and that we will NOT judge them, but leave that judging to GOD.

Let's read those verses above again--

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

WE HAVE TO BELIEVE IN THE TRUTH or we will be lost, completely and utterly lost.

If we choose NOT to believe in the truth we will be deceived there is NO getting around this fact, none. Without a love of the truth there is NO SALVATION. Without a love for the truth there is only a life of delusion, a life believing in lies, a damnation, as pleasure is taken in that which is unrighteous.

WE HAVE TO LOVE THE TRUTH!

We will live in a world rife with deception, delusions, lies and even as we live in this world we must love the TRUTH, knowing the TRUTH isn't of this world, but found in our SAVIOR!

BY HIS GRACE!

Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Hope in TRUTH

Col 1:1  Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ BY THE WILL OF GOD, and Timotheus our brother,
Col 1:2  To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Col 1:3  We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Col 1:4  Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

Col 1:5  FOR THE HOPE WHICH IS LAID UP FOR YOU IN HEAVEN, WHEREOF YE HEARD BEFORE IN THE WORD OF THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL
Col 1:6  WHICH IS COME UNTO YOU AS IT IS IN ALL THE WORLD AND BRINGETH FORTH FRUIT AS IT DOTH ALSO IN YOU SINCE THE DAY YE HEARD OF IT AND KNEW THE GRACE OF GOD IN TRUTH

This same hope is LAID up for US in heaven, isn't it? The FAITH in CHRIST JESUS. The LOVE which we have to all.

The HOPE we find in the WORD of the TRUTH of the GOSPEL.

The TRUTH.

Too many refuse outright to believe in truth stubbornly imagining they have truth in themselves by their mere existence. They exist therefore they are truth. They take it all the way back to the beginning- agreeing that there must have been a beginning of some sort- and that beginning was a big bang - the chance happenstance of elements uniting that would eventually produce us. Because they just happened and were NOT created, they are free to believe  they are truth. They know that history reveals our past, generation after generation attesting to the fact we came from others like us. Counting backwards I know my mother, and I knew her father, and I knew her father's mother, but I never knew her father's mother's mother or father the trail ends there for me holding tangible proof seen by me. However I know she had a mother and father because she exists and to exist you must have a father and mother- a seed and an egg to unite. At one point my mother's father's mother most likely knew tangibly her mother's father's mother, most certainly my mother knew further back than I did, and so it goes. But after a few generations those before are forgotten for the most part. We know they existed but by mere tales and pictures, possibly certificates and other documents their names might have been written upon- in fact I have a copy of the document dating back to the census taken in the 1800's with my ancestor's signatures.  I've seen pictures of gravestones where those relatives have been buried. I know they existed because I exist. We can go back and back and back, and the meticulous record keeping of those who first started record keeping might have ancestors dating back thousands and thousands of years. In fact… we do have a genealogy that is widely known.

This genealogy exists and many do not believe it, preferring if you will, to believe in 'primordial ooze' as their descendant in common with all other people.

If we are going to believe in the TRUTH- we have to comprehend that we are not truth in and of ourselves and way too many do not want to believe they are not truth- it upsets their way of thinking.

They would rather believe that we -often times despicable, vile creatures- are truth. It stands to reason if a person believes they are truth in and of themselves then all others are their own truth as well- even the most evil among them.

Truth isn't found in ourselves. We cannot find truth in ourselves.

What we find in ourselves is that we are part of a collection of beings that exist- very defective beings far from every single ones highest idea of perfection. At best a collection of human beings that find it hard to even be loving towards other human beings like themselves. In fact it is extremely hard for us to imagine that we are truly all the same- human beings. We value our uniqueness so much we've all but done away with the fact we are in the end ALL just human beings- we ALL have that in common. We'd much rather do away with our commonalities and tout our uniqueness. Yet is it our commonality that allows us to feel compassion towards one another. The richest, the prettiest, the smartest person alive is merely human- they live, they die - every single one.

The Truth.

The word of the truth of the gospel. The word of truth- CHRIST- the gospel. The gospel of the kingdom the eternity with CHRIST. Eternity begins in heaven. Knowing the GRACE of GOD in TRUTH.

TRUTH is found outside of ourselves and in CHRIST.

Our beginning, our end, our eternity all found in CHRIST JESUS our LORD, our SAVIOR, our CREATOR.

We will never be satisfied in the belief that we are the truth, never. Deep down in the most staunch among atheists and the like they know aren't satisfied with life as they know it, their short existence. So many scientists seek that ever elusive key to eternal life knowing that as a finite being their hope lies in being able to come up with a way to turn the finite being into an infinite being with quality of life. That ever elusive fountain of life, the heavenly being guarded Tree of Life, these are their hope only they seek it in among cures created by fallible beings, who are truly NOT creators, but rather reproducers.

Knowing the grace of GOD in truth.
Knowing the truth of the gospel.
Knowing that the truth is out there to be known, and not instinctively within ourselves, this is fact, logical fact when you realize how imperfect we are.

We have a HOPE laid up in HEAVEN.
We have a SAVIOR!  This is all the truth we must proclaim! We can be SAVED! We are NOT doomed to this existence there  really, truly is something more, much, much more than we can even imagine.

By the mercy and grace of our God may we seek TRUTH always.

In HIS LOVE!

Unto HIM that is able to KEEP you from falling

Jud 1:24  Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Jud 1:25  To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

To HIM that is able to keep you from falling.

There is only ONE who is able to keep us from falling.
There is only ONE who can present us faultless.

The thing is we WILL fall if He doesn't KEEP us from falling.

We will be taken over by sin if we don't cling to Him who can save us from sin. Without our Savior we have no hope. Too many believe that they can in fact save themselves. They believe if they do not act too badly that they deserve salvation. Satan has come up with this deceptive plot and has taken many captive with it, many.  Those who believe they can be good enough haven't comprehended the fact that they cannot ever be sinless in and of themselves. Any sin they've committed needs to be forgiven or the filth of that sin remains upon them, staining them. They could go and never commit a single other sin but the stain of that one would remain unless they go to the ONLY ONE who can present us faultless before the Presence of His Glory.

We MUST be kept from falling. We must be presented faultless before God. Our Savior is the ONLY One who can do this and NONE other.

We've studied the book of Jude and we've seen that God will PUNISH the sinners. It isn't a fake tale made up to scare people into behaving as best they can. This is so incredibly serious yet so few actually take it that way. It's much more easy for them to simply live their lives any ol' way and let come what may.

The belief that everyone will move on right after death, no matter what, pervades the entire world. They'll move on in some spirit form and maybe they'll suffer a little but in the end everything will be just fine. Some do believe they'll face a torturous hell environment with fire and brimstone, pain, agony unlike anything they've ever felt and they'll have to feel it forever, but it's not real to them, only here and now is real and therefore if they have to suffer something later well that's what will happen and they'll worry about it then.  Others who do their best to live sinless for fear of eternal everlasting pain and suffering, are missing the point of God's love. Is it fear God wants us to live in, or love?  Did Jesus come and expound on pain and suffering, or did He preach on love?  Some will say both and that's the truth- but his main message was of the LOVE of God and revealing the FATHER'S LOVE to us, not the FATHER'S hatred. His love, His longsuffering.

Sin will destroy us if we allow it to.  And we will allow it if we don't go to the ONLY ONE who is able to KEEP US from falling.

We are warned, we aren't left clueless, our God would NEVER leave us clueless. We will ALL have the chance to know the TRUTH, plainly.

We will ALL be able to be KEPT from FALLING by our SAVIOR but we have to ALLOW Him to KEEP us.

To HIM that is able to keep us from falling.

Please LORD keep us from falling! Without you we are HELPLESS!
