IF you continue in the faith

Col 1:22  In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Col 1:23  If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister

We WILL be presented HOLY, UNBLAMEABLE, and UNREPROVEABLE through our SAVIOR to GOD the FATHER

-   IF  -

Notice that word carefully. It's a tiny word but it holds a lot of meaning. IF.

Not you will be presented that way no matter what, but you will be presented that way IF- meaning if you meet the requirements.  We all know what that means. Meeting requirements. You have to have the proper requirements for a lot of things before you can attain them. To drive, to vote, to ride certain amusement park rides, to qualify for most jobs, to get married, to get divorced, to obtain a rebate, to win contests, and so on.  Proper requirements are necessary for so much. IF you don't have those requirements then you do not get to vote, you do not get to drive, you do not get to ride that ride, you do not win that contest, you don't get the job, you surely won't get the rebate you're wanting, and as for marriage and divorce well you can kiss them good bye too. These are facts we live with all our lives long. We know what the word IF means. If you do this then that will take place, if you fail to do this then that won't take place- sounds simple and very straight forward, easily comprehended.

So here we have an IF… 'IF ye continue in the faith grounded and settled and be NOT moved away from the HOPE of the gospel'

You have an active role once again. People sometimes think that all you have to do to be considered holy, unblameable, unreproveable in the sight of God is accept Jesus as their Savior once and that's all she wrote. Accept that He died for them and then go on and live however they please without a single other thought about the matter.  If that were true then what does it mean to CONTINUE in the faith- grounded and settled, unmovable from the hope of the gospel?

What does the word continue mean? It means don't stop. We cannot stop having faith, we cannot allow ourselves to be moved away from the hope of the gospel. Jesus has to be a REAL belief to us, a daily belief, not a haphazard, occasional thought in our lives. He has to LIVE in our LIVES as something very, very real. That hope must be a hope that is daily! If we dare to neglect the hope of Christ we are risking eternal life. The 'IF YE CONTINUE' is put there for a reason.  If it were different we would be told to accept Christ one time and then go about your life, but we are NEVER told that, not ever.

Heb 2:1  Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Heb 2:2  For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
Heb 2:3  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him

We cannot neglect so great salvation! IF (and there's that word again) IF we neglect salvation we will NOT have salvation. We really do have to give the more earnest HEED to the things we hear in the WORD of GOD, we can't let them slip, we just can't.

We must CONTINUE in the FAITH. We must be GROUNDED. We must be SETTLED, We must NOT be moved. We MUST have the HOPE of the Gospel in us ALWAYS!

Alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works

Col 1:21,22  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight

Alienated and enemies in your mind- BY wicked works.

Actions have consequences. We want to believe otherwise, don't we? Isn't that why when people commit wrongs they're relieved to 'get away with them'? There's a certain sense of relief and happiness in the criminal when a crime is successfully carried out. The thief isn't caught, the murderer gets away with it, the adulterer is never found out, the fornicator is fine because the pleasure is worth any supposed penalty for engaging in what is only natural, the disrespecting person is never called to account for their disrespect, the coveter is never exposed for their coveting, the liar never revealed to be lying,  and so on. And isn't it often found to be true that when a person does get away with a sin it becomes easier and easier to commit that same sin time and time again. Wicked works.

What do you imagine wicked works to be?

Tit 1:15  Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Tit 1:16  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

They profess that they know God-  but in WORKS they deny him.

The fruit of a tree is so telling. If we know nothing of trees at all and see flowers bloom upon them knowing they'll bear fruit in time, we'd watch to see what sort of fruit the tree would bring forth, right? That blossom might turn into an apple, or a pear, it might be a peach in the end. By the fruit that comes from the tree we know what sort of tree it is even if we know nothing else about identifying a tree.

Mat 7:20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

What are the fruits, but works?  Seriously? If we know one another by our fruits that has to mean something realistic, we aren't trees but we are people whose actions are telling. I can't produce an apple but I can produce other things, right?

Mat 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Mat 5:3  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:4  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mat 5:5  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mat 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mat 5:7  Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mat 5:8  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Mat 5:9  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mat 5:10  Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

The merciful, the peacemakers, the meek.

Mat 5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The commandment keepers- not breakers.

Mat 5:44  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:45  That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Loving enemies, blessing the cursers, doing good to the haters, praying for the users and persecutors.

Do not try to tell me that we are not to think about our works- our actions- not when my SAVIOR tells me otherwise.

The truth is we are KNOWN by our actions.

Our actions are a result of our minds, the decisions, the choices we intelligently make by thinking.

'Alienated and enemies in your mind- BY wicked works.'

The wicked works we allow ourselves to commit alienate us from God, they make us enemies of God.

A sense of despair will arise when we think of all the wicked works we've committed and seem unable to stop committing. It's this despair that Satan wants us to fall victim to, entrapping us in hopelessness.

Col 1:21,22  And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight

Yet now hath he RECONCILED in the body of HIS flesh through DEATH- to present YOU HOLY and UNBLAMEABLE and UNREPROVABLE in HIS SIGHT.

We can be reconciled through our SAVIOR who gave His life for US!  We do not have to be alienated and enemies in our minds by wicked works. We can accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, trusting in HIM to present us HOLY and UNBLAMEABLE AND UNREPROVABLE. We cannot present ourselves that way.  We must trust in HIM to do for us what we absolutely cannot, and can never do for ourselves.

Does this mean we continue to encourage the wicked works in ourselves? NEVER. Never ever encourage them. We are taught by Jesus to encourage the good, going beyond what most even believe good to be. Laying down our lives for our enemies, not reviling our persecutors, not taking that road so readily traveled by the masses, that very, very broad road the mjority are set out upon. We are encouraged to find the SELFLESS road, not the SELFSERVING road.

By His grace may we be found in Him and ONLY in Him.

All love, all power, all glory, all honor, all praise to GOD!

By Him were all things created

Col 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

He is BEFORE all things.

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

In beginning.
Was the Word.
The Word was WITH God.
The Word WAS God.

God and God together.

God the word- would become the Son of God the Father, begotten by the Father. Chosen to be the SPIRITUAL image of the Father God. Chosen to be the FIRST of all to come. Chosen as the Promised ONE. Creator of ALL things in heaven and in earth- visible and invisible. Created FOR and BY Him. Without HIM NOTHING we know would exist, not one single thing. He is not only our Savior, but our Creator.

Col 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

In ALL THINGS HE might have PREEMINENCE.  God in flesh.  The firstborn from the dead- truly the first born in a world that had fulfilled the promise of a Savior to come.  The head of the body- the church. The head of God's people.

Col 1:19  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell

Praise God the FATHER!

Col 1:20  And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Made PEACE through the BLOOD of HIS CROSS. His Sacrifice brought peace everlasting to a world hopelessly lost in sin. His death brought peace not only here but in heaven ALL THINGS are reconciled to HIM-to His perfect PEACE.

Isa 26:3  Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Perfect peace is only found in our Savior, no where else. We will be reconciled to our Savior, He died to make this possible.

This amazing sacrifice made by those who had the power to simply erase us all as a failed experiment. God almost did just that.

Gen 6:5  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Gen 6:6  And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Gen 6:7  And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
Gen 6:8  But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

He'd made a promise to the newly fallen humans remember-

Gen 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

The only way Noah could find grace in the eyes of the Lord was if there existed grace to find.  The promise of One who would destroy the father of lies , the promise of His being able to bruise the head of the serpent. That promise was given to us so we might know the very thing that had introduced us to evil would be done away with by the ONE who would intervene, the ONE who would be God's. Grace would be possible, the One whose heel would be bruised would LIVE.  This promise made grace possible for Noah. The world would NOT be destroyed the fight between good and evil would go on until the promise was fulfilled.

Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. One person in all those wicked upon the earth whose heart was God's. ONE person prevented humanity's annihilation through the promise made before the world was formed, that should things go bad, a Savior would be needed.

Our Savior would make peace possible through His blood sacrifice, all for US undeserving ones, all by HIS grace, all through HIS love.

Delivered from the power of darkness

Col 1:12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Col 1:13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Col 1:14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins

The Father has delivered us from the power of darkness.

What is the power of darkness?

Luk 22:47  And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
Luk 22:48  But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
Luk 22:49  When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
Luk 22:50  And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
Luk 22:51  And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
Luk 22:52  Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
Luk 22:53  When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
Luk 22:54  Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.

Evil was transpiring. The chief priests of the very faith Jesus was; the captains of the temple- the very temple that Jesus went to as a boy and taught in as a man, the temple of God's chosen people; the elders- those appointed to do the work of God by those in the temple; all these people were there to do one thing and one thing only- take Jesus the Son of God captive so they could put Him to death. Evil. And this evil was working under the power of darkness.

Act 26:14  And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
Act 26:15  And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
Act 26:16  But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
Act 26:17  Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
Act 26:18  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

To OPEN their eyes- TURN them from the DARKNESS to the LIGHT- from the POWER OF SATAN unto GOD.

The power of darkness is the power of Satan.
The power of light is the power of God.

The power of darkness is something we NEED to be delivered from because it's the power to led us to permanent destruction.

It's FACTUAL that two opposing forces exist in life, if you have any sort of sense you can realize this just by being alive.  You know what it is to be happy, you know what it is to be sad. You know what it is to be in turmoil and you know what it is to be content. You also know that none of these states of being is a constant but ever fluctuating. When sadness comes you long to be happy again. When discontent occurs you want to be content again. When you're upset you long to have that upset resolved so it doesn't continue to upset you.  There is a right and wrong - can any one really dispute that? People try. They say your wrong could be my right, and in some things they may be right, but in the fundamental basics of life we we know there is a right and wrong. We know that murder is wrong no matter how some might try to justify it. We know that stealing is wrong, no matter the justification for that as well.  I could go on but this is truth and if you don't see the truth then it's because you don't want to and perhaps you're being allowed to believe the lies you'd rather trust in.

Two opposing forces and they can be summed up in God and Satan- the power of Light and the power of Darkness.

We need to be delivered from darkness and God the Father will deliver us through His Son Jesus Christ, our LORD and SAVIOR.

The power of darkness will blind every one it can. The power of light will save all that choose to be saved.

As we live we are exposed to these two opposing powers. The power of darkness fights for us, but NEVER sacrifices itself for us in any way. The power of Light died for us, sacrificing everything so we could have the choice - to choose Light or Dark. While dark will do everything short of sacrificing itself to get people to not believe in the LIGHT, the Light does not tell you that the dark doesn't exist, in fact it warns you of the darkness.

Col 1:13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Col 1:14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins

When we are delivered from the power of darkness, we are delivered from permanent death, from nothingness, from non-existence. We will be translated to the kingdom of our SAVIOR, the FATHER'S SON'S KINGDOM. He will return for us, for those who CHOOSE Him, choose light over darkness, life over death.  We only have redemption, we only have salvation through our Savior, through the blood He spilled, through the sacrifice He made, through the life He gave all so that HE could cleanses us - all so He could forgive us for the darkness we've embraced over our life. He alone can forgive us, He alone earned that right to save us from the darkness. He alone has POWER over darkness. God the Father truly has delivered us from the power of darkness offering us EVERYTHING through His Son!

All through HIS love! His amazing, amazing LOVE.

By HIS GRACE, He is the light of life.

Joh 8:12  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Eternal inheritance

Col 1:12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light

We MUST give thanks  to the FATHER, because HE and HE alone has made it possible for us to be PARTAKERS of the INHERITANCE of the SAINTS in LIGHT.

The INHERITANCE.

Act 20:32  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

An inheritance among ALL them which are sanctified.

Jesus said- Act 26:18  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Receive- an inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (JESUS).

Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an INHERITANCE, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Eph 1:12  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Eph 1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE,
Eph 1:14  Which is the EARNEST of our INHERITANCE until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Eph 1:15  Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Eph 1:16  Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
Eph 1:17  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of HIS INHERITANCE in the saints

Eph 5:5  For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any INHERITANCE IN THE KINGDOM CHRIST and of GOD.

Heb 9:15  And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of ETERNAL INHERITANCE.

1Pe 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:4  To an INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE and UNDEFILED, and that fadeth not away, RESERVED IN HEAVEN FOR YOU,
1Pe 1:5  Who are kept by the POWER OF GOD THROUGH FAITH UNTO SALVATION ready to be revealed in the last time.

Tell me…

…if you received a letter in the mail telling you that you have inherited something how would that make you feel? Excited, right?  You'd feel excited to know what the inheritance would be. Would the inheritance be money, lots of money, land, a house, a car, jewelry? The idea of receiving an inheritance is exciting in it own way. Some people know long before they get it that there is an inheritance on its way- when of course the one giving it to them dies.  Some grow up knowing they'll inherit their parents things- all of them. They have an expectation of what they'll receive. Does it please them? I don't know, I'm not one of those. No one will be giving me an inheritance, no one I know has one to give. I can only imagine how I'd feel.

We need to imagine. Let's imagine how we'd feel if out of the blue some long lost relative or even friend decided to give all their wealth to us, a huge sum of money.  You can do this can't you, imagine? Very few people, if any would feel disappointed in hearing this news. Most would be ecstatic to be given such an unexpected gift.

Now we have to take this a step further- to our INTERNAL INHERITANCE. We all have one.  NO ONE IS EXEMPT!

What that inheritance is, well, that's another story.

There are TWO inheritances we can possibly have.

One is the inheritance of eternal life with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

The other is the inheritance of non-existence.

Only two and we all have one or the other.

How often do you think about this inheritance you'll receive?  I personally believe that we should be thinking about it every single day of our lives.  While we live we actually get to choose the inheritance we'd like to receive.  We do.  We choose. And you know what? We choose it everyday.

More on this tomorrow all by the grace of GOD.  This is something we need to study deeper. This is our inheritance we're discussing- our eternal inheritance.

ALL through HIS LOVE! All by HIS GRACE and MERCY! Please LORD please let our inheritance be eternity with YOU, not because we deserve it, because we don't, but because of YOUR love for us, help us love You as we should, please! Please LORD. Your will!

According to HIS glorious power

Col 1:10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Col 1:11  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Strengthened with ALL might- how? According to HIS GLORIOUS POWER. Unto ALL patience and longsuffering with JOYFULNESS.

We are only strengthened by HIS GLORIOUS POWER. When we imagine we strengthen ourselves we are giving credit where NO credit is due. It is the power of GOD that strengthens us. As we face trials and tribulations - and they come in many, many forms- and we somehow prevail, it isn't through our own power that we've done so, but through God's. Some trials and many tribulations are messy, horrible business and we struggle wildly, kicking and screaming as we endure them. Sometimes we despair that we'd ever make it through, but then somehow we do it, we are on the other side of those horrific obstacles life throws at us, and there we are given an amazing opportunity to praise God, to thank God for His mercy, His strength.  All too often  people come out the other side of things and they are eager to brag about how THEY overcame. They quickly collect their flesh badges- pride, arrogance, self-serving- and pin them on, never once realizing that they were given the strength to endure by God.

We must walk worthy of our LORD - we must increase our knowledge of GOD- we have to be strengthened with all might according to HIS GLORIOUS POWER. And that strength will give us patience, the patience we need in life because more and more people are losing the ability to have patience. That strength will enable us to be LONGSUFFERING- enduring all that we must, suffering all that we must whether it's a situation of our own making, or a situation of another's that we are called to be long suffering towards.  And we are strengthened to have this patience and longsuffering- JOYFULLY!

There are many who pat themselves on their backs because they believe they are patient and longsuffering but while they're doing that patting they're complaining endlessly about what they must have patience for, for what they must be long suffering towards. Their complaining negates their patience and long suffering. Sure, maybe they didn't show any complaints or signs of agitation during the situations and they believe that entitles them to a good back patting courtesy of their own hands. But the very essence of true patience and longsuffering means there is NO back patting involved whatsoever. There is NO complaining to third parties about the situations, again that negates the truth of the patience and long suffering.  We are strengthened by GOD to have true patience and long suffering, enduring our lives with joyfulness!  Something so many will admit is incredibly hard to do.

Endure life with joyfulness.

Just saying endure makes a situation sound instantly very trying, and that's what our lives are, trying, very, very trying. And to be able to endure them with JOYFULNESS- truly that is GOD GIVEN STRENGTH!

All by HIS grace and mercy, all through HIS love we must live! Seeking Him and His love, His strength daily, hourly, minutely!

All in Christ Jesus' love!

Walk worthy of the Lord

Col 1:10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God

This is the desire-

That we WALK worthy of the LORD unto ALL pleasing.
BEING fruitful in every GOOD WORK.
INCREASING in the KNOWLEDGE of GOD.

We live, we breath, we exist and because of this our lives are filled with actions. All but a very few in the grand scheme of things are busy day in and day out simply living in their own little world. I say all but a very few because there are some people who are paralyzed and their every move is made by another. The majority are busy though, even if their existence is boring, monotonous, mundane, they are committing actions - and their actions are their works and their works reveal a lot- but not all- about the way they believe.

We need to LIVE worthy of the LORD.
We must LIVE pleasingly for the LORD.
We have to LIVE being fruitful in good works for the LORD.
We must LIVE increasing our KNOWLEDGE of GOD.

Would the LORD be please with how you live? Seriously, you have to have some idea about that. We have to know otherwise why are people told to live this way if they can't know? That would make no sense whatsoever. We know whether or not we are increasing our knowledge of God, right? We know whether we are committing fruitful good works- works that our SAVIOR worked, living to reveal HIS FATHER. We live to REVEAL the sacrifice of our SAVIOR.  He came to SAVE US! And we must reveal this in our lives. When we reveal this- we are preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom- when we preach the Gospel of the Kingdom then Jesus our Savior is reveal and when our Savior is reveal the Father is revealed.  THIS is how we should live. Yet it is far from how most of us truly live.

We get so caught up in our existence here we neglect the very real truth of our future existence with our Savior.

If we lived as if our Savior would return for us tomorrow what would we do differently?
We are supposed to watch for His return. We are supposed to be ready. We are not supposed to live our lives in an ignorant stupor, but be prepared. If we do fall asleep we must do so be prepared. To prepare for our Savior's return we must live as He told us to live in His word. We must live as the Holy Spirit guides us to live. We must love Him, we must love others. We cannot neglect the actions we are to make here, the works we are to do, we have to live for our Savior now if we imagine we will truly one day live with Him forever.

In HIS LOVE!
