Mockers in the last
time.
Mockers who will
walk after their own UNGODLY lusts.
Mockers who separate
themselves- sensual- having NOT the Spirit.
Separation from evil
is a good thing. Evil separating itself
from God is a bad thing. You cannot have the Spirit if you separate yourself
from the Savior. If you choose to indulge
your UNGODLY lusts you are choosing to separate yourself from the Spirit of
God. The Holy Spirit wants to be in us,
united with us drawing us ever closer to the Savior, keeping us from evil.
We are SHOWN right
and wrong.
Just as our original
parents had to make a choice we TOO face that same choice in many ways. Do we choose to be united with God or
separate ourselves from Him?
Sin separates us
from God.
Atonement-- AT ONE MENT - through the forgiveness our
Savior died to give us we can be made one with God again, no longer separated
from Him.
OUR ungodly lusts
WILL separate us from the SPIRIT.
If the Spirit is NOT
living in us perhaps we need to examine ourselves. 2Co_13:5
In examining
ourselves we need to comprehend our true selves, not hide behind excuses. We need to truly recognize any evil ways with
us, any cherished evil ways that would separate us from God.
Please, Father,
please open our eyes, open our hearts to YOUR truth so we may be kept from evil
by YOU. Help us NOT to walk after our own ungodly lusts! Help us NEVER to
separate ourselves from YOU. Keep us in the SPIRIT, please, Father. Through the
grace, mercy, the love of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord!
Jud 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which
were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Jud 1:18 How that they told you there should be
mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
Jud 1:19 These be they who separate themselves,
sensual, having not the Spirit.
Luk_6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and
when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and
cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Rom_8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of
Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom_8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
2Co_6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye
separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive
you
Heb_7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is
holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the
heavens
1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things
of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know
them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Jas 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge
among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of
wisdom.
Jas 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in
your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
Jas 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is
earthly, sensual, devilish.
Jas 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is
confusion and every evil work.
Jas 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first
pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good
fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Jas 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in
peace of them that make peace.
