We have a HEAVENLY High Priest!

The Atonements of Cleansing were finished! The Sanctuary was CLEANSED!

Yet because this cleansing, symbolic in nature of the final cleansing in the heavenly sanctuary, was only temporary, sin remained.

Dan 8:14  And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

A prophecy.

A prophecy for a date 2300 years into the future.

A prophecy that would come to pass long after the earthly sanctuary services were finished. A by finished I mean no longer in effect. When our Savior died upon the cross this happened…

Mat_27:51  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent

The veil of the temple-  the veil that separated the holy place from the most holy place ripped in two from the top to the bottom.  Any sacrifice offered after that most perfect of sacrifices that ALL those sacrifices had pointed to, would be senseless.  Our Savior came and opened the Way to the final Atonement-  the final At One Ment with God the Father, with Him, God the Son, all through the Holy Spirit.  We will NOT be at one with God completely not until the final sanctuary cleansing is completed by our Savior, our HIGH PRIEST in the HEAVENLY sanctuary.

Read the following verses- the rituals continued, they had to continue because sin continued.  One day that will no longer be the case, sin will be no more.

Lev 16:23  And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:
Lev 16:24  And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.
Lev 16:25  And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.

The Atonements made that ONE DAY, and still it all began over and over again.

We HAVE a heavenly HIGH PRIEST.

Heb 4:14  Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
Heb 4:15  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Heb 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Please, Heavenly High PRIEST, SAVIOR GOD, we come boldly unto the throne of YOUR GRACE, please give us MERCY, give us GRACE, help us, we NEED YOU SO DESPERATELY!

Please.

Please.
