Do Not Make Your Heart A Stone.

We choose.
We make the choice.
No one can make the choice for us.
We all have to choose, there is no other option, none. You can't ignore the choice except at your own peril. Ignoring making the choice is in fact making the choice- the wrong choice.
We choose.

Before our Savior returns our choices will have been made. In fact they are made prior to His return. When in the heavenly sanctuary our Savior ends His intercession, when ALL is finished, when the cup is finally full, when the time God set has arrived, then we are all decided one way or another, the choice made.

God's or not God's.

We have been warned. We have been pleaded with. We have been shouted at loud and clear. We have had so many opportunities to know the truth, to accept the truth, to live the truth, to claim the hope our eternal hope- Jesus Christ our Savior.

Do not make your heart a stone.

Zec 7:11  But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
Zec 7:12  Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

Mat 13:15  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Rom 2:3  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Rom 2:4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Rom 2:5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Rom 2:6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
Rom 2:7  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
Rom 2:8  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Rom 2:9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
Rom 2:10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Rom 2:11  For there is no respect of persons with God.

Psa_95:8  Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness

Psa_51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

A Sealed Servant.

A sealed servant.

Rev 7:1  And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
Rev 7:2  And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
Rev 7:3  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Seal of God.

NOTE-

Taken from Testimonies for the Church Volume 5  E.G. White (PLEASE look up every scripture given- we have to study to show ourselves approved unto )God, not have others simply study for us.)

'Chapter 23—The Seal of God

“He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.” (Ezekiel 9:1)

“…And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side; and the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.”  (Ezekiel 9:3-6)

Jesus is about to leave the mercy seat of the heavenly sanctuary to put on garments of vengeance and pour out His wrath in judgments upon those who have not responded to the light God has given them. “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” (Ecclesiastes 8:11) Instead of being softened by the patience and long forbearance that the Lord has exercised toward them, those who fear not God and love not the truth strengthen their hearts in their evil course. But there are limits even to the forbearance of God, and many are exceeding these boundaries. They have overrun the limits of grace, and therefore God must interfere and vindicate His own honor.

Of the Amorites the Lord said: “In the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.” (Genesis 15:16) Although this nation was conspicuous because of its idolatry and corruption, it had not yet filled up the cup of its iniquity, and God would not give command for its utter destruction. The people were to see the divine power manifested in a marked manner, that they might be left without excuse. The compassionate Creator was willing to bear with their iniquity until the fourth generation. Then, if no change was seen for the better, His judgments were to fall upon them.

With unerring accuracy the Infinite One still keeps an account with all nations. While His mercy is tendered with calls to repentance, this account will remain open; but when the figures reach a certain amount which God has fixed, the ministry of His wrath commences. The account is closed. Divine patience ceases. There is no more pleading of mercy in their behalf.

The prophet, looking down the ages, had this time presented before his vision. The nations of this age have been the recipients of unprecedented mercies. The choicest of heaven's blessings have been given them, but increased pride, covetousness, idolatry, contempt of God, and base ingratitude are written against them. They are fast closing up their account with God.

But that which causes me to tremble is the fact that those who have had the greatest light and privileges have become contaminated by the prevailing iniquity. Influenced by the unrighteous around them, many, even of those who profess the truth, have grown cold and are borne down by the strong current of evil. The universal scorn thrown upon true piety and holiness leads those who do not connect closely with God to lose their reverence for His law. If they were following the light and obeying the truth from the heart, this holy law would seem even more precious to them when thus despised and set aside. As the disrespect for God's law becomes more manifest, the line of demarcation between its observers and the world becomes more distinct. Love for the divine precepts increases with one class according as contempt for them increases with another class.

The crisis is fast approaching. The rapidly swelling figures show that the time for God's visitation has about come. Although loath to punish, nevertheless He will punish, and that speedily. Those who walk in the light will see signs of the approaching peril; but they are not to sit in quiet, unconcerned expectancy of the ruin, comforting themselves with the belief that God will shelter His people in the day of visitation. Far from it. They should realize that it is their duty to labor diligently to save others, looking with strong faith to God for help. “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16)

The leaven of godliness has not entirely lost its power. At the time when the danger and depression of the church are greatest, the little company who are standing in the light will be sighing and crying for the abominations that are done in the land. But more especially will their prayers arise in behalf of the church because its members are doing after the manner of the world.

The earnest prayers of this faithful few will not be in vain. When the Lord comes forth as an avenger, He will also come as a protector of all those who have preserved the faith in its purity and kept themselves unspotted from the world. It is at this time that God has promised to avenge His own elect which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them.

The command is: “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.” These sighing, crying ones had been holding forth the words of life; they had reproved, counseled, and entreated. Some who had been dishonoring God repented and humbled their hearts before Him. But the glory of the Lord had departed from Israel; although many still continued the forms of religion, His power and presence were lacking.

In the time when His wrath shall go forth in judgments, these humble, devoted followers of Christ will be distinguished from the rest of the world by their soul anguish, which is expressed in lamentation and weeping, reproofs and warnings. While others try to throw a cloak over the existing evil, and excuse the great wickedness everywhere prevalent, those who have a zeal for God's honor and a love for souls will not hold their peace to obtain favor of any. Their righteous souls are vexed day by day with the unholy works and conversation of the unrighteous. They are powerless to stop the rushing torrent of iniquity, and hence they are filled with grief and alarm. They mourn before God to see religion despised in the very homes of those who have had great light. They lament and afflict their souls because pride, avarice, selfishness, and deception of almost every kind are in the church. The Spirit of God, which prompts to reproof, is trampled underfoot, while the servants of Satan triumph. God is dishonored, the truth made of none effect.

The class who do not feel grieved over their own spiritual declension, nor mourn over the sins of others, will be left without the seal of God. The Lord commissions His messengers, the men with slaughtering weapons in their hands: “Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.”

Here we see that the church—the Lord's sanctuary—was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God's power as in former days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus “Peace and safety” (1 Thess. 5:3) is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God's people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would not bark (Isa. 56:1) are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men, maidens, and little children all perish together.

The abominations for which the faithful ones were sighing and crying were all that could be discerned by finite eyes, but by far the worst sins, those which provoked the jealousy of the pure and holy God, were unrevealed. The great Searcher of hearts knoweth every sin committed in secret by the workers of iniquity. These persons come to feel secure in their deceptions and, because of His long-suffering, say that the Lord seeth not (Ezek. 9:9), and then act as though He had forsaken the earth. But He will detect their hypocrisy and will open before others those sins which they were so careful to hide.

No superiority of rank, dignity, or worldly wisdom, no position in sacred office, will preserve men from sacrificing principle when left to their own deceitful hearts. Those who have been regarded as worthy and righteous prove to be ring-leaders in apostasy and examples in indifference and in the abuse of God's mercies. Their wicked course He will tolerate no longer, and in His wrath He deals with them without mercy.

It is with reluctance that the Lord withdraws His presence from those who have been blessed with great light and who have felt the power of the word in ministering to others. They were once His faithful servants, favored with His presence and guidance; but they departed from Him and led others into error, and therefore are brought under the divine displeasure.

The day of God's vengeance is just upon us. The seal of God will be placed upon the foreheads of those only who sigh and cry for the abominations done in the land. Those who link in sympathy with the world are eating and drinking with the drunken and will surely be destroyed with the workers of iniquity. “The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.” (1 Pet. 3:12)

Our own course of action will determine whether we shall receive the seal of the living God or be cut down by the destroying weapons. Already a few drops of God's wrath have fallen upon the earth; but when the seven last plagues shall be poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation, then it will be forever too late to repent and find shelter. No atoning blood will then wash away the stains of sin.

“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.” (Dan.12:1)

When this time of trouble comes, every case is decided; there is no longer probation, no longer mercy for the impenitent. The seal of the living God is upon His people. This small remnant, unable to defend themselves in the deadly conflict with the powers of earth that are marshaled by the dragon host, make God their defense. The decree has been passed by the highest earthly authority that they shall worship the beast and receive his mark under pain of persecution and death. May God help His people now, for what can they then do in such a fearful conflict without His assistance!

Courage, fortitude, faith, and implicit trust in God's power to save do not come in a moment. These heavenly graces are acquired by the experience of years. By a life of holy endeavor and firm adherence to the right the children of God were sealing their destiny. Beset with temptations without number, they knew they must resist firmly or be conquered. They felt that they had a great work to do, and at any hour they might be called to lay off their armor; and should they come to the close of life with their work undone, it would be an eternal loss. They eagerly accepted the light from heaven, as did the first disciples from the lips of Jesus. When those early Christians were exiled to mountains and deserts, when left in dungeons to die with hunger, cold, and torture, when martyrdom seemed the only way out of their distress, they rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer for Christ, who was crucified for them. Their worthy example will be a comfort and encouragement to the people of God who will be brought into the time of trouble such as never was.

Not all who profess to keep the Sabbath will be sealed. There are many even among those who teach the truth to others who will not receive the seal of God in their foreheads. They had the light of truth, they knew their Master's will, they understood every point of our faith, but they had not corresponding works. These who were so familiar with prophecy and the treasures of divine wisdom should have acted their faith. They should have commanded their households after them, that by a well-ordered family they might present to the world the influence of the truth upon the human heart.

By their lack of devotion and piety, and their failure to reach a high religious standard, they make other souls contented with their position. Men of finite judgment cannot see that in patterning after these men who have so often opened to them the treasures of God's word, they will surely endanger their souls. Jesus is the only true pattern. Everyone must now search the Bible for himself upon his knees before God, with the humble, teachable heart of a child, if he would know what the Lord requires of him. However high any minister may have stood in the favor of God, if he neglects to follow out the light given him of God, if he refuses to be taught as a little child, he will go into darkness and satanic delusions and will lead others in the same path.

Not one of us will ever receive the seal of God while our characters have one spot or stain upon them. It is left with us to remedy the defects in our characters, to cleanse the soul temple of every defilement. Then the latter rain will fall upon us as the early rain fell upon the disciples on the Day of Pentecost.

We are too easily satisfied with our attainments. We feel rich and increased with goods and know not that we are “wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.” Now is the time to heed the admonition of the True Witness: “I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” (Rev. 3:18)

In this life we must meet fiery trials and make costly sacrifices, but the peace of Christ is the reward. There has been so little self-denial, so little suffering for Christ's sake, that the cross is almost entirely forgotten. We must be partakers with Christ of His sufferings if we would sit down in triumph with Him on His throne. So long as we choose the easy path of self-indulgence and are frightened at self-denial, our faith will never become firm, and we cannot know the peace of Jesus nor the joy that comes through conscious victory. The most exalted of the redeemed host that stand before the throne of God and the Lamb, clad in white, know the conflict of overcoming, for they have come up through great tribulation. Those who have yielded to circumstances rather than engage in this conflict will not know how to stand in that day when anguish will be upon every soul, when, though Noah, Job, and Daniel were in the land, they could save neither son nor daughter, for everyone must deliver his soul by his own righteousness.

No one need say that his case is hopeless, that he cannot live the life of a Christian. Ample provision is made by the death of Christ for every soul. Jesus is our ever-present help in time of need. Only call upon Him in faith, and He has promised to hear and answer your petitions.

Oh, for a living, active faith! We need it; we must have it, or we shall faint and fail in the day of trial. The darkness that will then rest upon our path must not discourage us or drive us to despair. It is the veil with which God covers His glory when He comes to impart rich blessings. We should know this by our past experience. In that day when God has a controversy with His people this experience will be a source of comfort and hope.

It is now that we must keep ourselves and our children unspotted from the world. It is now that we must wash our robes of character and make them white in the blood of the Lamb. It is now that we must overcome pride, passion, and spiritual slothfulness. It is now that we must awake and make determined effort for symmetry of character. “Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.” (Hebrews 3:15) We are in a most trying position, waiting, watching for our Lord's appearing. The world is in darkness. “But ye, brethren,” says Paul, “are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”(1 Thess 5:4) It is ever God's purpose to bring light out of darkness, joy out of sorrow, and rest out of weariness for the waiting, longing soul.

What are you doing, brethren, in the great work of preparation? Those who are uniting with the world are receiving the worldly mold and preparing for the mark of the beast. Those who are distrustful of self, who are humbling themselves before God and purifying their souls by obeying the truth—these are receiving the heavenly mold and preparing for the seal of God in their foreheads. When the decree goes forth and the stamp is impressed, their character will remain pure and spotless for eternity.

Now is the time to prepare. The seal of God will never be placed upon the forehead of an impure man or woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead of the ambitious, world-loving man or woman. It will never be placed upon the forehead of men or women of false tongues or deceitful hearts. All who receive the seal must be without spot before God—candidates for heaven. Go forward, my brethren and sisters. I can only write briefly upon these points at this time, merely calling your attention to the necessity of preparation. Search the Scriptures for yourselves, that you may understand the fearful solemnity of the present hour. '

Will I Choose God's Time?

God is holy.
Holy Time.
God in time.
Time set apart for holy use.
Time set apart for God.
Whether you acknowledge God in time, He is there- and He is there in this time for us. God made this time for us.  God did not make the holy time and add us to it as an afterthought. God made us and then made holy time for us. A gift of time, a blessing of time.

Recognizing time.

We all know what it means to recognize the importance of events in time. We have what we call milestones in life and we celebrate milestones. We celebrate these markers of time in our lives.  We celebrate the day of our birth each year. We celebrate traditions we've placed on a set date in time, we make that particular day worthy of celebration. We have anniversaries of various happenings in our lives and choose to recognize these times. We do comprehend the importance of time. We note the passage of years placing more and more importance upon the length of the years we live. We mourn those who no longer have time and will never celebrate time with us. We are not ignorant to time set apart for particular use- we all do it for our various beliefs. You may only have a single day you set aside not considering any other in the year important. That doesn't mean you don't comprehend others choosing to set aside several days in a year for their important activities. You may get caught up in a whole country's idea of important days and mail service, trash service, banking services, government offices all these may set these days aside whether you are a part of them or not. Just because you choose not to celebrate the Christmas holiday doesn’t mean a country that chooses to celebrate this tradition will bend to your choice. You will live on that day unable to do things you normally might because the time of the celebration is taking place. Just because you are existing in the time of this celebration doesn't mean you are a part of that celebration. You would need to choose to take part in the celebration in order to be involved.

God set aside time, making that time holy and He did this for us out of the great love He has for us. We need to choose to celebrate this time because in doing so we are celebrating God's love. God set aside weekly time, that's how much He loves us!

How important is time? We often say we have too little time, or too much time. We've heard it said, or even have said it ourselves that we don't have time to do this, that or the other thing. We've wished we had more time. We wish others would spend time with us- this indicates a caring, doesn't it? And if others can't spend time with us- if they even say they want to spend time with us but circumstance prevent it, that helps too. To hear I don't want to spend time with you indicates a lack of interest, and a lack of interest indicates a dislike of being with you. A dislike of being with something when you are supposed to love that something, indicates dysfunction. And we all have a lot of dysfunctions in our lives. As an introvert, I know I can love someone and not want to be with them, physically. I do want to be with them in a relationship of mutual caring and love, knowing there are good thoughts being shared, knowing that person exists who cares for my well-being. I have family that live thousands of miles away from me and I love them though I can't be with them. I have family that lives less than a mile away from me and because of my own introverted nature I love them even though I choose not to be with them often. I know they are there, I know they love me and they have only good thoughts for me.

Time.

Will I choose to keep the time God has set aside for me as holy time? I will if I truly desire God in my life. He is closer to us in that holy time than at any other time. If I love God and He has carved out a period of time- twenty-four hours from every one-hundred sixty-eight hours- to meet with me spiritually I would be a fool to ignore that very special time that is holy, and made so for me! While my life might be a mess of chaotic thoughts and feelings, as I fight the demons of disaster threatening to destroy me on many, many levels, I know there is a special time set aside for me to recognize my Creator, my Redeemer, to let go of my self-pursuits and self-focus and strive to focus on all things GOD.

Gen 2:1  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exo_16:30  So the people rested on the seventh day.

Exo_20:10  But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo_20:11  For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exo_23:12  Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest

Exo_31:15  Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD

Exo 31:17  … for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Exo_34:21  Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest

Exo_35:2  Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD

Lev_23:3  Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

Deu_5:14  But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

Heb_4:4  For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Faith, Hope, Love.

Faith.

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hope.

Rom 8:24  For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Rom 8:25  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Love.

1Jn_4:8  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Faith, hope and love.

1Co 13:13 And now faith, hope, and love, these three things remain; but the greatest of these is love.

We are saved by hope, faith is hope, our hope is in God who is love.

All glory, honor, praise and thanksgiving to our GOD.  All love to our God who gives us the love to love with. All through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, God with us- Emmanuel, God in the flesh, God who reveals the Father God, God who give us God the Holy Spirit.   All worship unto our LORD, now and forever!!!!!!!  Amen.

Hope Will Overcome.

Gripped by terror. No? Paralyzed by fear.  No? Haunted by horrors. No? Filled with anxiety. No? Just a little bit worried. No? Laughable situation. No?

The truth is that many people just don't know how to feel, or what to think. I, like most of you, have probably seen/heard so much that is fear worthy on the news, and yet also seen the debunkers of what the news is spewing. We don't know what to believe.

Personally, I believe the virus is real. I believe that like most viruses it will affect some much harder than others. I believe people will die from the virus just as they've died from viruses in the past. I believe that taking precautions is a good thing.

Another thing I believe is the word of God and the word of God tells us that before Jesus Christ returns to redeem His people from the earth- all those that love Him and believe in His truth, all those that He knows as His- that MEN'S HEARTS WILL FAIL THEM FOR FEAR FOR LOOKING AFTER THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE COMING ON THE EARTH.

The grip of fear that is overwhelming for some people isn't something made up, it's not fake and it doesn't matter whether or not the news media has caused it, or politicians have had their hand in things, what matters is that it exists.  Mass hysteria is what they call it, and it is happening on a world-wide level, not just a national level or few states level. This isn't weather related, or volcanic, or even earthquake related to local specific area levels. This IS WORLD-WIDE fear that we are all experiencing. If you just told yourself that you aren't afraid, that you're not a part of the fearful then that's great, but that doesn't negate the many millions who are.  I know I've said the words- this is scary, even though I don't feel an overwhelming sense of terror or anything. This is unique for the world because of social media, something that never existed in past world-wide pandemics, I'm talking about the ones in the days before modern medicine that wiped out millions.  I can see pictures, get news instantly, something that years ago was impossible. We live in different times. For thousands of years the world did not have the technology we have today, this is factual. We are caught up in this world-wide situation and we know the word of God tells us that fear will be a huge thing right before our Lord returns.

This may be just the tip of an iceberg, and the rest of that iceberg something unseen at the moment yet to be revealed.  This could be a shaking, God taking mankind by the shoulders and shaking them telling them to wake up before it is too late!

There will not be a single person who is alive when the Lord returns who will be able to say they weren't given the chance to repent, to seek forgiveness, to accept the Lord as their Savior, to know Him and be known by Him. Not one person. All of us will have a chance and by the grace of God may we take that chance and choose to believe, to seek forgiveness, to repent, to seek the knowledge of God, and to be known by Him!

The fear is real. And fear can induce a lot of situations that will cause mankind to give into that fear. Stress from fear will increase unhealthy situations- physically, mentally and spiritually.

May we LOOK forward to the joyous return of our SAVIOR! May this be our constant HOPE. As fear seeks to destroy may we let hope overcome that fear.

All through Jesus Christ our LORD and SAVIOR NOW and FOREVER!!!!!!!

Luk 21:25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26  Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Secure, Because There Is Hope.

Job 11:18  And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope…

Secure- because there is hope.

Who doesn't want to be secure? Insecurities cause us discomfort. We worry when we aren't secure. What may make one person secure however, might not make another secure. Some people are secure in themselves and their own abilities to provide for whatever they might need. Others are very insecure about themselves and their own abilities to provide for themselves. Sometimes due to illness, infirmities, age and the like we are left to feel extremely insecure about our lives and our ability to provide for ourselves. When we think in terms of our temporary life is it any wonder people are insecure? Even the most secure person can be thrown for a loop by the unexpected. This temporary life leaves us with a feeling of insecurity because there are so many unknowns. We do NOT know what tomorrow may bring to us. We plan our lives, we imagine how our lives are meant to be, but all too often they don't turn out anything like what we had in mind.

We can be secure in hope. When we place our hope in Christ, we are planning on a life eternal. We aren't guaranteeing ourselves anything in this temporary life when we make Christ our hope, not a single thing. With Christ our hope Christ is our guarantee in eternity.  I may have a temporary life filled with all manner of insecurities- legitimate insecurities. I may have no money, no food and no way to get either. I may go one, two, three, four days without any food, I may actually starve to death, but I can still have my security in Christ. In this temporary life anything can happen and has happened to people who love God with all their hearts, horrific things. We need to understand that it is life eternal where we find our truest hope, not the life we live now.

While we live in very uncertain times the tendency to feel insecure, to feel fear will be very, very great. We need to find our security in hope, and that hope is in Jesus Christ our LORD and SAVIOR who died for us, so we may have the hope of Him eternally. No matter what comes our way, let us never lose our faith in our eternal Savior.

Psa 43:5  Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Judgment Is Coming, Ready or Not.

The place called Mar's Hill exists, it is a part of our reality, part of our past and existing in our present.

'The Areopagus or Mars Hill is a bare marble hill next to the Acropolis in Athens. It is especially popular with travelers for its connections with a speech made by Paul the Apostle.' (Wiki)

Yesterday I mentioned Mar's Hill in connection with the altar with the inscription- TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Today I want to read that passage more in-depth.

Act 17:22  Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
Act 17:23  For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

Act 17:24  God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Act 17:25  Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Act 17:26  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
Act 17:27  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
Act 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Act 17:29  Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
Act 17:30  And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Act 17:31  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

God MADE THE WORLD AND ALL THINGS THEREIN.
GOD IS LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.
God does not dwell in any temple made by man.
God does not need man to worship Him- God existed before man existed and would continue to exist without man.
God gives life and breath to ALL things. Nothing has life or breath without God. All mankind shares the same life giving blood, not a single person exists without this blood.
God arranged things for us so that all mankind are capable of seeking the Lord should they choose. God is NOT far from any of us.
God can't be far from us, we live because of Him, we move, we have our form, we are the children of God.
Because we are God's children we have to realize that God is NOT gold, NOT silver, NOT stone, and can NOT be captured in such likenesses. No man can depict God in any tangible object.
God will overlook our ignorance when we do not comprehend His truths. God however, expects us to REPENT as soon as we realize the truth of our place and God's place as Creator, as Redeemer. We owe our very lives to GOD and God will not be worshiped falsely, He is above all! We need to repent of our audacity to presume that we are above God in any way, that we can bring God down to our level, that God needs us.

Act 17:31  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

God has APPOINTED A DAY to JUDGE the world in righteousness through Jesus Christ our LORD. God gave us ASSURANCE of this truth to ALL MANKIND when He raised our Savior, Jesus Christ, from the dead!

You cannot believe in the Savior Jesus Christ without knowing there is a Day of JUDGMENT.

Act 10:42  And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

JUDGMENT.

Mat 25:31  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Mat 25:32  And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:35  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Mat 25:36  Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Mat 25:37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Mat 25:38  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Mat 25:39  Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Mat 25:40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Mat 25:41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Mat 25:42  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Mat 25:43  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Mat 25:44  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Mat 25:45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Mat 25:46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

This is truth! Judgment! We will be blessed of the Father and inherit the kingdom or we will be punished with a punishment whose results are everlasting, never to be undone.

We cannot believe in our Savior without believing in our own judgment.

Rom 2:16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Our secrets will be judged, there are no secrets from God, none.

Rom 14:9  For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
Rom 14:10  But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

We shall ALL stand before the judgment seat of Christ!

1Co 4:5  Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

The Lord will come in judgment!

2Co 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

ALL of us will appear before the judgment seat of Christ!

2Ti 4:1  I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom

The LORD JESUS CHRIST will judge us!

Jud 1:14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Jud 1:15  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

TRUTH!

Judgment is coming, ready or not.

Come, Lord Jesus, come!

Rev_22:20  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
