Eze 33:31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh,
and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will
not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth
after their covetousness.
Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's
righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not
submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time
your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this
life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Luk 21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that
dwell on the face of the whole earth.

may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and
to stand before the Son of man.

will and to do of his good pleasure.
Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the
people of God.
Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also
hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that
rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

We hear words- but
do we do them?
Do our hearts go
after covetousness, while we speak the love of our God?
Do we try to
establish OUR righteousness, or submit ourselves to the righteousness of God?
Do we take heed to
ourselves?
Do we examine
ourselves - trying to comprehend if our hearts are overcharged with over
eating, drunkenness, cares of this life?
Do we pray always to
be accounted worthy?
Do we pray to escape
all that will come to pass?
Do we pray that we
will stand before the Son of man?
Do we labor for meat
that ENDURES to everlasting life?
Do we run the race
so we may obtain the prize?
Are we temperate in
ALL things to obtain an INCORRUPTIBLE crown?
Do we keep our
bodies under subjection?
Do we obey?
Do we work out our
own salvation- with fear and trembling- knowing God works IN US to will and do
HIS good pleasure?
Do we labor to enter
into that rest even as we cease from our own works? We must not fall under the
example of UNBELIEF- that those who do not enter that rest of God's.
Do we let God work
in us?
