The Dead Know Not Any Thing - Eccl. 9:5

The living know they shall die. That sentence is self-explanatory isn't it? I'm alive and I know that I will die eventually. I know my grandparents and parents have all died already. They knew they would die, their parents and grandparents before them had all died. People are born, they live and then they die- we know this. As we grow up we become aware of this as a fact of life, an unpleasant fact of life.  No one would dispute that this is the way of things. There doesn't exist a single person recently who has lived past 117 years old. In 1997 a woman died at 122 years old. We just don't have a very long life expectancy in the grand scheme of things. Factually the living know they shall die- it's inevitable.  The Bible says-

… For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 9:5,6)

The living know they shall die- we believe this. The dead know not anything- we need to believe this. We were not created live outside of our flesh bodies. We were not given a spirit form that can be altered at will- such as that of angels. We all know our Bibles tell us about angels as men visiting various people. We all know our Bibles tell us that angels can be invisible, and or visible to man. We were not created in this manner- to be invisible. We were given flesh created from the dust of the ground, the same dust of the ground we return to after our death. We were not given a part of us cognizant without our bodies. Our bodies were created and our minds were a part and parcel of those bodies. The flesh of our minds, our brain matter is subject to death it does not go on thinking after death. Our thoughts perish with us in death.

Psa 146:4  His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

This is truth. When our bodies no longer have breath and we begin the process of death- decaying, our thought perish. I'm not talking about those who have been kept breathing artificially after they stop breathing, technically as long as they are still breathing the possibility - depending upon brain function- exists for them to still have thoughts. Without any artificial means of breathing for the unbreathing it doesn't take very long for those thoughts to perish, to cease. No amount of wishful thinking can force a person whose brain has died - to think again. How often people have to make the awful decision to terminate artificial means of keeping someone alive so their bodies can join their minds in death. They've devised ways to measure brain activity and therefore they can test and know when there is no brain activity taking place. Without activity in the brain- there are no thoughts.  After studying a bit on what it means to be declared brain dead (you can study it as well) it is clear no one believes a person is capable of thought at the point they are declared brain dead.  A living brain has a lot of activity going on, even during sleep.

We can believe the word of God when we are told that when a person dies their thoughts die as well.

The Bible you would imagine would go into great detail if a person at death was given a new form of existence, complete with their ability to keep thinking- as we comprehend the ability to think. I'm thinking right now, and if I died a minute from now and my thoughts were transferred from my brain of flesh into something else entirely so that I never miss a beat in my thinking- this is a huge deal! Why would God tell us that our thoughts perish upon death if they don't? Wouldn't God tell us that our thoughts live on in our new form?

We are told this--

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first

The DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE.

1Co 15:51  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1Co 15:52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

WE SHALL NOT ALL SLEEP.

The trumpet shall sound and THE DEAD SHALL BE RAISED INCORRUPTIBLE.

The dead - those whose thoughts have perished will be raised and when they are raised they are raised with bodies that are incorruptible- no longer subject to death.

Please someone, anyone, please tell me why the dead need to be raised when Christ returns if they are already risen and have new forms and are thinking beings?

Raising the dead- there is no need to raise any dead if they've already been awaken from death's sleep, right?

Let's talk a moment about Enoch--

Heb 11:5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Why was it necessary for Enoch to be translated to heaven in his flesh body- not seeing death- IF he had a better body awaiting him after death- a special spirit body with his brain? Enoch was translated and spared death- because death isn't some wonderful transformation into a new thought-filled existence outside of our bodies of flesh. He was given this miraculous blessing of being taken to heaven and never having to face death, and therefore never having to wait for the resurrection day.

And if Enoch was given this miraculous translation why weren't all of God's chosen men and woman given this miracle? Because it was an exception to the rule of fallen humanity.

Read this-

Heb 11:39  And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

Heb 11:40  God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Those men and women of God all had a good report through faith. They believed the promise of salvation and subsequent resurrection, the promise of eternal life, but had NOT received this promise.

Act 2:29  Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

Act 13:36  For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption

Nothing about David being in heaven, not a word.

They hadn't received the promise! They will NOT receive the promise without us.

Their bodies are long decayed in their graves, their thoughts perished, the hope they have is in the resurrection when Christ will call all of them from their graves into new life incorruptible.  Throughout all the entire earth those who died, those whose thoughts perished, those who had the promise of eternal life yet had not received it will be brought to life once more. They will rise into the air and meet their Savior there! By the grace of God may we be living as Enoch was living and translated, or if we should die may we be resurrected by our Lord and Savior, brought to life once again as the humans we were created and meant to be. Our Savior was resurrected in flesh incorruptible, we too shall be resurrected in flesh incorruptible, or given changed flesh if we are still living. Our flesh that is subject to decay will no longer be, no sickness, no imperfections, no flaws, nothing that reeks of sin's touch will mar us newly resurrected or newly changed.

There is NOTHING in the word of our GOD about us living on right after we die, as if death is nothing but a mere transformation. There are a lot of lies, a lot of Satan's idol gods who have fabricated such lies and the masses have been deceived as those who are supposedly God's incorporate the lies into the truth in order to deceive unsuspectingly those who desire to remain blind to truth, preferring lies.  May we NOT be deceived! May we know only God's TRUTH.

Help us, Lord to be YOURS, wholly YOURS in all truth!

All through Your amazing love, Savior, Jesus Christ, our LORD now and forever!!!!!!!

Thoughts Perish.

Life and Death are set before us…

Deu 30:19  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live

Life and death.  Blessing and cursing. We choose. We choose life.

Deu 30:15  See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil

Life and good. Death and evil.

We know what it means to live. We only know in part what it means to die. What do I mean that we only know in part what it means to die?  It's true. When someone we know dies, we know that we will no longer have them in our lives to talk with, to touch, to listen to, to look at, to simply know they are available to touch base with. They will no longer be with us, all that is left of them are the memories they have given us. Their possession are no longer their possessions but instead become the possessions of others. Their presence can be felt in the things they've left behind- again- memories. Some people leave behind great big gaping empty caverns in the lives of those around them- their presence was felt to that extreme. Others leave behind barely small ripples, their absence scarcely felt at all. Death takes people from us, their existence is over. Their presence in our lives is completely over. We will never hear a new word from their mouths, only possibly recorded words they've spoken in the past- memories. There will be no new memories made with them, not a single one. They are gone and we are left to live on without them.

The dying sometimes have the opportunity to comprehend that they are leaving this existence. People make plans with the knowledge they will no longer be around. They know they won't be around for the next holiday, birthday, the future of whatever family additions are made, they comprehend that they will be gone from this world.

The part about death people get confused about is what happens to the dying one after they breathe their last and their heart stops beating. Do their thoughts stop? Is their consciousness completely gone? Is there no life in any manner after they die? Does any part of them live on?

There are many theories on what happens to a person after they die, many theories. The truth of the matter is we have to make a choice about what we believe, about who we believe.

The danger in choosing something that isn't true could be eternally detrimental. If you choose to believe there is absolutely nothing after death, that you are gone from existence completely forever, and that turns out not to be true- you may have cheated yourself of eternity. If you choose to believe traditions various cultures have invented and they turn out not to be true- again, you may have cheated yourself of eternity. If you choose to believe the only source of truth then you will have availed yourself of eternity.

What is the truth?

I get my truth from my Heavenly Father God, from my Savior God, from my Holy Spirit God.

My God left a whole lot of information for me. My God didn't want me to believe in this information without proof of its authenticity. My God didn't want this information to come off as fiction, as fable, as fairy tale, as something invented by man for man. So my God included in this information historically authenticated knowledge, irrefutable facts for those willing to accept the knowledge of it all that is available to them.

I could hold out a book to you and tell you the secret of a good life is inside and you could refuse to read it. By your refusal to read you haven't made the knowledge inside any less real, any less true; you've just cut yourself short of having the knowledge available.  When someone hands you a manual on how your phone works you can refuse to read it and you'll still be able to use your phone. However, you may never avail yourself of all its many features because you refused to read the manual. The knowledge is there but if you don't believe the knowledge given, or even want the knowledge then that's the choice you are allowed to make.

History has verified that the information left to me by my God is factual. Now I need to take the information in, study the information available to me.

My studies from this information on the particular subject of death have taught me the following-

…His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.  (Psalm 146:4)

Breath goes forth.

Body returns to earth.

Thoughts perish.

Living know they shall die.

Dead know not anything.

Dead have no more reward.

Dead even the memory of them eventually is forgotten.

Dead their love, hate, envy is perished.

Dead have nothing to do in this world.

If a person's thoughts are entirely gone, what does that mean? Our ability to think is a part of what makes us living beings. If all our thoughts are gone, are we really alive? Some may think of those who are kept alive without any higher brain function, kept alive by machines that keep their physical bodies from decaying, yet not a single thought can be processed again by that person. Technically they are living and not thinking, but the life they are living is nothing that they are conscious of at all in any way- why? Because they have no thoughts.  The dead have no thoughts. The dead know not anything. My God has given me this information.

When I die I will have no thoughts, I will know nothing.

More on this tomorrow by the grace of our LORD, by His will, not mine.

All in the name of our Lord, our Savior, Jesus Christ now and forever.

The Dead Will Rise.

When the trumpet sounds… what trumpet? The LAST trump. The last call sounded. When that last trumpet sounds God is sending His angels to gather together all of us who belong to Him. The dead that are His will be gathered together to Him. There will be a shout, the trump of God will sound loud, and the dead will be raised!  This is BIBLICAL! This isn't some movie script being written for some fictional tale meant to entertain for a few hours at best. This is TRUTH from God's word! The dead will be raised, but not as zombies. The dead will be raised and in a single moment they will brought up to life incorruptible, changed. No longer will they be dead, but risen to new life! This new life given to them will be incorruptible.

The same word of God that predicted world kingdoms rising and falling hundreds of years before they took place, the same word that foretold of the coming of the Messiah to save His people, the same word that tells us that God is longsuffering-this same word tells us that the DEAD in Christ will rise!

The DEAD will rise.

Now let me ask you a little question that might be a bit pertinent. If you believe you live on in heaven right after you die, or that your dead loved ones are in heaven right now then what dead will rise when Christ returns? If the dead are already risen- in heaven living their lives- what dead are brought to life and changed to incorruptible at the sound of the last trumpet? What dead are hearing the voice of Christ? Seriously, ASK yourself these questions! A great deception has overcome nearly the entire world in one form or another and the deception concerns the state of the dead.

You can't believe the newly dead has gone on to the bright light and passed through the pearly gates of heaven to join all their previously passed loved ones, and also believe they will be called to rise from the dead when Christ sounds the last trump. You can't have it both ways. There is absolutely no need for the dead to be called to rise from their graves to meet the Lord in the air if they are already there with Him, no need at all! Something isn't fitting quite right here, is it? Something isn't true. The dead can't be living, if they are dead, not until they are called to life by Christ when He returns. Yet millions and millions and millions of people believe the dead are not dead but transitioned to a different life. They didn't die, they moved on. They didn't die, they just jumped out of a flesh body to another body, a spiritual one. They didn't die, not really. They are alive, and we console ourselves over and over again with that belief. What are we told to comfort ourselves with? The fact that the Lord will descend from heaven…and the DEAD in CHRIST will rise!  We are not told to comfort ourselves by believing the dead are still living.

God help us shake off the insidious deceptions of Satan before it is too late! We need ONLY the truth of GOD. If we holdfast to a single deception, a single cherished tradition over the truth, we are letting ourselves be deceived into following Satan, all the while thinking we are following Christ.

Please, Lord, help us not to be deceived! We don't want to be blind followers of the blind- led to destruction! We don't want to hear You tell us You don't know us! We want to KNOW YOU, the real YOU! We don't want to be fooled by Satan who has set himself up as you to so many people. Save us, Lord! Keep us from Evil, Father in Heaven! Help our UNBELIEF! We would be YOURS right now and forever!!!!!!!

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1Th 4:18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1Co 15:53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

1Co 15:54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1Co 15:55  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1Co 15:56  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

1Co 15:57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 15:58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Mat 24:30  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mat 24:31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Joh 5:25  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first

Take Comfort.

Is your name found written in the book of Life?

Rev_3:5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the BOOK OF LIFE, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Rev_20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the BOOK OF LIFE: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Rev_20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE was cast into the lake of fire.

Rev_21:27  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's BOOK OF LIFE.

Rev_22:19  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the BOOK OF LIFE, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

*******

Jesus will come again and when He does- the UNJUST will be UNJUST STILL and the FILTHY will be FILTHY STILL, the RIGHTEOUS will be RIGHTEOUS STILL and the HOLY will be HOLY STILL.

We ALL will be on one side or the other, there is no middle ground. Will your name be in the book of life or not? We need to think about this NOW while there is still time. When our Savior returns all WILL HAVE BEEN DECIDED already. You can't wait, waiting is a fool's game, a deadly fool's game.

Jesus needs to be Your Savior now, right now! In accepting Him as Your Savior - you will have your name written in the book of life. Living for Him and not yourself, living for life eternal, not for earthly, temporary gain in this life.

Rev 22:10  And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

Rev 22:11  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Rev 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Will you be delivered when Christ returns, or will you have chosen to be forsaken?

Dan 11:45  And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Dan 12:1  And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Dan 12:2  And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Christ's people will be delivered- those who have died before His return, and those who are alive that are His.

1Th 4:14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1Th 4:15  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1Th 4:18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words

Take comfort- live for Christ now and always!

Life's Weatherman Predicts- Constant Disasters.

Heb 5:8  Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Heb 5:9  And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him

Obedience.

Heb 11:8  By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, OBEYED; and he went out, not knowing whither he went

Abraham obeyed- without KNOWING the details, without having all the answers. Told to leave, he left without even knowing where he was going. He obeyed.

Isa 50:10  Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

When we walk in darkness, without comprehending why all the trials and tribulations, all the heartaches and pains, why the awfulness of existence is all around us- we must obey, we must trust our God through all we go through. We can scream out, asking why, but we must relent to not being given the answers, and trust, obeying the command to trust-blindly. So many would call that a fools way of living, but I'd rather be a fool in their eyes than a fool in the eyes of my God. We must stay upon our God.

We must obey.

Mat 7:24  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Mat 7:25  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Mat 7:26  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Mat 7:27  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

I can still hear the song I learned as a child…

The wise man built his house upon the rock

The wise man built his house upon the rock

The wise man built his house upon the rock

And the rains came tumbling down

The rains came down and the floods came up

The rains came down and the floods came up

The rains came down and the floods came up

And the house on the rock stood firm

The foolish man built his house upon the sand

The foolish man built his house upon the sand

The foolish man built his house upon the sand

And the rains came tumbling down

The rains came down and the floods came up

The rains came down and the floods came up

The rains came down and the floods came up

And the house on the sand went smash

This is truth! The RAINS of life are going to come down that is inevitable. The FLOODS of devastation are going to hit us over and over again throughout our lives. These emotional, mental, physical disasters are going to occur all the time- they don't ever stop for long. It's having a house built upon the rock of our SAVIOR that will keep us standing firm in HIM. All around us life may be one tornado ride after another, we need to expect this, not be surprised by it happening. We live in a world of chaos, the weather man of life has constant predictions for one natural disaster after another. Our only defense during these storms- the tiny storms, the enormous storms- is one solid ROCK, the ROCK of our salvation found in Christ Jesus our Lord. The only real safety we have is in HIM and the ultimate promise of eternal salvation after the storm we are all born into named- LIFE.

We obey. We trust. We believe that the storm called LIFE will one day be over and our NEW LIFE, our ETERNAL LIFE will begin.

God Cried For Us.

Jesus prayed.

Jesus - offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears.

Did you read that? Jesus prayed and entreated God with strong crying and tears.

JESUS cried and it wasn't a soft weeping, a silent tear or two. Strong crying, visible tears. You know what it means to cry strongly, don't you?

JESUS CRIED STRONGLY as He PRAYED and SUPPLICATED His Father.

In His human flesh Jesus was subject to human emotion. As the author of human emotion, Jesus knew feeling. As a human His feeling for mankind, His creation, was as deep as could be. He would offer salvation to mankind and He shed tears, strong crying, His heart ached as He fought to bring eternal life to us.

God cried for us.

Jesus was not immune to the pain and terrifying prospect of impending death.  He suffered. He prevailed! Praise God!

Heb 5:5  So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

Heb 5:6  As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Heb 5:7  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

Heb 5:8  Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Heb 5:9  And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him

May We Yield to God Seeking His Work In Us.

We yield-

-have mercy, blot out, wash me, cleanse me, purge me, make me, create in me, renew, cast me not, take not, restore, uphold me, deliver me, open thou.

We need God to do His work in us, and for God to do His work in us we must yield to Him and allow Him to have His way in our lives. Our transgressions come from a self-centered pursuit. We take our eyes off of God and focus them on ourselves. As soon as our eyes are upon ourselves we lose sight of God and need to turn our eyes back upon Him. Is it any wonder we are to wear the armor of God? With the armor of God on we cannot help but be constantly reminded of God, right? If you wear a uniform to go to work as soon as that uniform is put on you are reminded of where you are going and what you are doing. All day long as you do your job that uniform is a reminder to you. When you go home at night and take off your uniform you are no longer reminded of your work and generally do not have to concentrate upon your job, you are now on your own time, able to do your own business. With God as our way of life we need to be reminded of Him always, not just occasionally, not just during work hours, but always. A piece of jewelry a lot of people wear is a wedding ring. That ring is a constant reminder of their marriage. As a rule most people don't take off their wedding rings for much, and when they do it's not for very long if they can help it. The ring symbolizes the marriage to them and to all who see the ring.

We need to be remind of God always. God needs to be in all our ways.

When we lose sight of God, we endanger ourselves. We leave His protection.

Self-focus is not God-focus.

We all have sin tendencies, every single one of us without exception. We will never be without sin tendencies as long as we are living in this world prior to the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Sin tendencies are not sin. Learning to recognize the sin tendencies in ourselves before they are indulged in and transformed into actual sin is very necessary. Striving against sin- resisting unto blood- Heb_12:4. We recognize the sin tendency, and we are at war against that tendency towards sin.

If we choose to indulge the sin, we choose to separate ourselves from God.

Is it any wonder after David chose to indulge in the lust of adultery with Bathsheba, and even went so far as to have her husband in a position to be murdered, that the separation he felt from God was devastating?

Nathan the prophet went to David and told Him God knew everything, and that David's sins were great. By David's own mouth he'd condemned himself, knowing the things he'd done, the sins he'd indulged in were worthy of death. And David said to Nathan-

2Sa 12:13  And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD.

David recognized his sin and made no excuse for himself. David accepted by his own admission that his sin made him worthy of God's condemnation, of death. David sinned against God when he indulged in the sin of lust, and murder as a result of that lust. David's adultery led to his desire to take another man's life. David sinned as his eyes turned from God and towards himself.

David's repentance was genuine, the weight of his sin was felt, he despised himself. God in all righteousness could demand David's life. God had mercy on David and spared His life.

David prayed…

Psa 51:1  …Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Psa 51:2  Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Psa 51:3  For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Psa 51:4  Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Psa 51:5  Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Psa 51:6  Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Psa 51:7  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psa 51:8  Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Psa 51:9  Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

Psa 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Psa 51:11  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Psa 51:12  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psa 51:13  Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Psa 51:14  Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

Psa 51:15  O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

Psa 51:16  For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

Psa 51:17  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

This needs to be our prayer as well. We sin every time we pursue self over God. We need God ever before us.

May we yield to God seeking His work in us!

We yield. He has mercy, He blots out, He washes me, He cleanses me, He  purges me, He makes me, He creates in me, He renews me, He casts me not, He takes not, He restores, He upholds me, He delivers me, He opens.

May we put on the whole armor of God daily and never remove it, sleeping in the armor, living in the armor always and forever reminded of our God we serve.

Eph 6:10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Eph 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints
