From love we obey love!

Why should the unrepentant wicked be spared? Just because they were born?  Is being born the sole right to inherit eternal life? Did we have any hand in our own birth? Did we create ourselves? Because we didn't *ask* to be born should this give us the consolation prize of eternal life? Sort of like- how horrible that we were born into this awful world that we didn't ask to be born into so give us an eternal life of goodness, and no awfulness, to make up for our not asking for being born. Is that how it is supposed to work? Everyone should be given eternal life simply because they were born, they were created by someone else and not by choice, is this right?

What audacity!

Our lives are NOT scripted! We ALL, every single one of us have had to make choices between right and wrong. (Every single one of us mentally capable of making choices between right and wrong, there are those who aren't mentally capable- those who are too young, those who are mentally incapable through genetics/accidents etc.)   As we grew up from little children we began to understand the difference between right and wrong, yes? As we grew up we began to reason within ourselves the reason why things were considered right and wrong, yes? We were taught consequences of wrong decisions, sometimes because we were punished by those trying to teach us right and wrong, and sometimes because our wrong choice had results that were very unfavorable and not at all what we desired. Before we are capable of knowing right and wrong and capable of making that choice we are NOT accountable for our actions, how could we be? How can a person be accountable for something they are not capable of understanding?   However, once a person does comprehend the difference between right and wrong and chooses wrong over right, they are accountable for those decisions.

The first human sin was a choice, a decision made to disobey, to not believe, to do something other than what they were told to do.

Should God have destroyed His creation of humanity because they disobeyed?

There was a test of obedience and the humans failed that test.

The humans were AIDED in their decision though, they were INFLUENCED, they were TEMPTED. God did not induce them towards disobedience.

Would humans have disobeyed if they'd been left to their own devices? We'll never know will we.

Perhaps because we were influenced- tempted by that outside influence, we were allowed a second opportunity to obey. We weren't outright destroyed, something none of us can fully fathom just because we do and have existed for over 6000 years.  But for a moment think about being destroyed. Some have said that God should have destroyed us completely, end of story, end of humanity.  But they can only have that thought because they exist. Kind of like, easy to say but you weren't there and you aren't God so you couldn't possibly make that call.

Any good parent, and yes, I said GOOD parent because there are a whole slew of bad ones- any good parent comprehends wanting their child to live, to grow up into a contented, cared for, caring, loving adult who has a great balance in life. A good parent wants the BEST for their child and that doesn't necessarily mean they want their child to have riches untold, or fame, or anything overly materialistic. A good parent wants their child to be loving and to love, able to handle life and all its ups and downs without succumbing to anything detrimental to their wellbeing. A good parent does not want to destroy their child when they commit their first act of knowledgeable disobedience. A good parent does not want to destroy their child- ever because they have the hope their child will one day have that life of wellbeing. And this is US as children grown to adulthood full of past disobediences ourselves, not wanting our offspring to suffer. Yet, we as parents also know that even the best, most well-grounded parents have born children who go on to became horrific adults, it happens.  And yes, there has been the awful thought from these parents of wishing their child had never been born so they couldn't have committed the horrors, and they've wished their own children death so the horror can end- it has happened, but before they wished those things they wished most of all that their child could repent of their horrors and change, turn away from committing any more horrific acts. They wanted their child to live but not in the horror induced by the child.  This is all comprehension on a HUMAN level- human thoughts, human understanding.

God the Father is not human. Jesus was NOT human when the world was created. The Holy Spirit is not human.  These Gods are deities! And yes, one of these three Gods did choose to take on human flesh but this choice was made long before the God we know as our Savior did take on human flesh. Our Savior, NOT in human flesh, was there at the beginning and was part of creating us and all things. We cannot forget we are CREATED BEINGS!

We answer to our Creators!

Our Creators decided not to destroy us but rather give us another choice - another chance to obey or disobey.  And because the ultimate objective, the original objective of creation- was one of pure love this was STILL the plan.  Our Creators did not want a world filled with ENDLESS disobedience, that truly would be horrific. Our Creators want a world filled with ENDLESS love possible only through obedience, only through the comprehension that we are CREATED BEINGS - created for the purpose of love! Created for the comprehension of the pure love found ONLY in our CREATORS. Some call obedience slavery but it's not! A child obeying a parents command is not a slave to their parent. Obeying is not slavery! Obedience towards one who only ever has our wellbeing first and foremost in their minds, that stems from love, that is a true love, a comprehension that from love we obey love.

Psa 147:6  The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

The wicked humans will be ultimately destroyed and their wickedness is their choice, they ALONE have chosen their path of wickedness. They have made the choice not to truly love, not to obey love. They have made the decision not to choose love sometime in their life and holdfast to that choice so that they KNOW what they are giving up - love- and freely give up love.  NONE of the wicked would be happy in eternal life, in eternal love, their discontent would be a part of them forever. It is out of LOVE that the wicked will be completely and utterly destroyed so that they are non-existent, they never would have been content in the obedience of love.

Please, Father God in heaven, please we would we would obey love! We would obey YOU! All through Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ is it possible for us to obey love, because He is love, and He obeyed love and wants us to obey love! By His grace may we live through the faith given to us by Him, through the Holy Spirit right here and right now! Lord we believe! Help Thou our unbelief!

All in the name of Jesus Christ, now and forever our Lord and Savior!

Amen!

My constant prayer

The following is my constant prayer-

Psa 51:9  Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Psa 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psa 51:11  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Psa 51:12  Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Beautiful words-

Mic 7:18  Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
Mic 7:19  He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Oh to have all my sins cast into the depths of the sea!

Eze 11:19  And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
Eze 11:20  That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Eze 11:21  But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

I need the stony heart out of my flesh, I need a heart of flesh!

Act 15:9  And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Please, purify my heart by faith!

Luk 11:13  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Joh 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Eph 4:30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Please Father, please I need the Holy Spirit! I ask You for the Holy Spirit, the Comforter! Please I need the Holy Spirit of God dwelling in me, I need the Spirit of Christ! I long to be Christ's! Please Lord, please.

We all long for the Holy Spirit, to be found in You! We need our heart made new! We need our sins cast far from us, we need our hearts made new!

You and You alone have the power to give us the Holy Spirit, please bless us! We are so lost without You.

By Faith we will trust in YOU and only YOU above all others!

Please.

In the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord!

Now and forever.

AMEN!

Evil wasn't promised forever

Do you sigh and cry for the abominations done in our world?

There are so many abominations that leave me in tears. I can't fathom the horrors we live with. I can't understand HOW people can be so incredibly cruel to others- to people, to animals. I just can't understand and yet it happens all the time. I know I have said cruel things to people before and I've regretted them. Sometimes I might say something hurtful and the moment it's out of my mouth I'm appalled, other times I don't feel the regret until much later.  Words can be cruel we all know this.  People can be so incredibly cruel. We don't like to think about that cruelty, we want it to be far from us. On any local news we can hear of cruelty, it's never far from us.

Eze 9:4  And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

We are supposed to sigh and cry for all the abominations that are done. We aren't supposed to harden our hearts to them and pretend they don't exist. We aren't supposed to grow more and more callous, we aren't supposed to find humor in the horrors and yet so many do.

My soul hurts when I think of the horrors- the abominations.

We have to know that there will be an end to the abominations.

All but those who are crying and sighing for the abominations, which will have the mark upon them, will be destroyed.  Those who have love and empathy, those who comprehend that this world is not supposed to have abominations, that the abominations were never supposed to exist, these will not be destroyed.

Evil was never promised forever.

Eze 9:1  He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
Eze 9:2  And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
Eze 9:3  And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
Eze 9:4  And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
Eze 9:5  And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
Eze 9:6  Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
Eze 9:7  And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
Eze 9:8  And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
Eze 9:9  Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.
Eze 9:10  And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
Eze 9:11  And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

Dear Heavenly Father, please help us to sigh and cry to know that all abominations will one day end, that all who love you are safe in You and Your love!

Please Father, may we be saved through our Savior and His love, His sacrifice.

Please.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, our Lord now and forever.

Amen.

Is God your heavenly Father, or is the devil your father?

When we do not abide in truth- we do not have a heavenly Father, but rather a devil for a father.

They thought God was their heavenly Father. They believed the same heavenly Father of Abraham was their heavenly ancestor. They laid claim to Jesus' Father, as being their Father and yet they did NOT believe in truth.

Joh 8:41  Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Joh 8:42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Joh 8:43  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Joh 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Joh 8:45  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Joh 8:46  Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
Joh 8:47  He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

They believed and they were wrong.  They believed and they rejected the truth.  They were raised to believe. Their entire lives from infancy to adulthood was spent learning of God and yet all their learning meant nothing because it was based upon the lies they wanted to believe, not truth.

The letter of the law DOES NOT SAVE ANYONE!  They lost sight of this! Even with all the animal sacrifices of their religion going on daily they lost sight of the needed sacrifice, they lost sight of the LOVE in all the rituals, the love of one for another. The love of God for them- they lost sight of this.

Jesus was revealing God the FATHER to them, He was revealing Him in person to everyone and they didn't even recognize this because to them God the Father was not about love, He was about rituals and sacrifice.  God was for people who would love- Him and others.  But this was lost sight of along the way.

Jesus wanted all to know this LOVE.
Jesus came to reveal all this LOVE.

The people claiming to know God didn't even recognize God's Son, they didn't recognize God's love.

Today people claim to know God, but how many of them wouldn't really recognize God's son, God's love? Would you, would I?

How many of us have the devil as our Father and not God even though we believe God is our Heavenly Father.

Lusts, murder, no truth, lies, are you familiar with any of these? The men Jesus was talking to- were they murderers? Liars? Consumed by their lusts? Not in their own minds. They were not guilty of anything they followed their laws to the letter. How many of us today follow the letter of the law, and consider ourselves to be upstanding, honest, hardworking, caring, truthful people, just like they believed of themselves?  We need LOVE in all, we need CHRIST in all!

We need HIS righteousness! We need HIS love. May we KNOW YOU HEAVENLY FATHER! You are our all in all!

May we not be deceived by our own selves. Open our eyes, our hearts all to YOU and YOUR LOVE as YOU revealed to us in Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, our LORD now and forever!!!!!!!

Please, Father, please!

Thank you!

Amen.

At the last trump- present with the Lord

2Co 4:13  We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
2Co 4:14  Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
2Co 4:15  For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
2Co 4:16  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
2Co 4:17  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
2Co 4:18  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2Co 5:1  For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2Co 5:2  For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
2Co 5:3  If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
2Co 5:4  For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
2Co 5:5  Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
2Co 5:6  Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
2Co 5:7  (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
2Co 5:8  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2Co 5:9  Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
2Co 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad

*******

The same writer of the above verses wrote the following too-

1Co 15:51  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

At the last trump we are changed.
At the last trump those who are in death's 'sleep' awaken.
At the last trump we are raised in corruptible.

When Paul writes here in 2 Corinthians about being absent from the body to be present with the Lord He's not telling us that upon death we are present with the Lord. If that were true PLEASE explain to me WHY our Lord would raise ANYONE from the dead. Why would he bring anyone back from their spiritual presence with God? Why would we NOT want to die if it had us sooner in God's presence? The truth is- once we die the next thing we will know is the presence of the Lord.  BUT the truth also is, we won't know that until we WAKE up from death's sleep.

When you sleep you know nothing until you wake up, this is truth!

So it is true that once we are divested of our corruptible bodies upon waking up when the last trump is sounded will be absent from our current corruptible bodies as we know them and present with the Lord in the new flesh He will give to us!

And we do want more than anything to be accepted of our SAVIOR.

We walk by faith not by sight.

We walk with the hope, sight unseen, to be Christ's when He returns. Christ gave us the EARNEST of the Spirit. Through the Spirit we have hope.

So many want to believe Satan's lies.

But Christ did NOT go to heaven when He died.  So He couldn't have been with the thief on the cross next to Him in heaven that day.  Christ was telling that thief today, he was giving him the news that day.  Just as if I were to tell you today that I will be in Virginia with you, but you know my trip to Virginia isn't planned for another year.  Nothing stops me from telling you things about the future- today.

People grasp at straws trying to get things to fit their idea of how things should be, they twist and turn things until they can believe lies easily enough and are blinded to all truth.

LOGIC of God's love tells us that upon death we do not go to heaven in any form at all, especially when we know Christ didn't even go to heaven when He died.   When we know He raised people from the dead- which would be CRUEL if they were already with God having passed through the suffering of this life.

I want to be absent from my body to be present with the Lord and I want this at His return when the last trump sounds and the dead in Christ will rise and those living will rise also to meet Him in the air! I want this so desperately and it's by HIS grace that it is possible, only by His grace through His love!

All though HIM.

In Jesus' name now and forever, AMEN!

Loving the Love in God's Law

Joh 15:9  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Joh 15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Joh 15:11  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Joh 15:12  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Joh 15:13  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus KEPT His FATHER's COMMANDMENTS.

Did He at ANY time tell anyone NOT to keep His Father's commandments?
He DID tell others they did good when they kept His  Father's commandments.

Mat 19:16  And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Mat 19:17  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Mat 19:18  He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Mat 19:19  Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 19:20  The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
Mat 19:21  Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Mat 19:22  But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

Luk 10:25  And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
Luk 10:26  He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
Luk 10:27  And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Luk 10:28  And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

You see, Jesus knew and knows that ALL who do choose to keep His Father's commandments in TRUTH and LOVE are keeping any commandment He, Himself gives as well.

LOVE.

This is why God's moral law could NEVER be done away with, never. It's Jesus' moral law too.  Jesus could keep His Father's commandments ONLY if we too are expected to keep them in Him. Jesus would NEVER have kept a single commandment of His Father's if He were going to do away with them! He would have made a HUGE deal about how wrong they were, and tell people NOT to follow those commandments. Instead, Jesus told those keeping the commandments that they were doing good. Jesus didn't want people to just keep the letter of the law, He wanted them to keep the love of the law.

Love of the law, is the love IN the law. Loving the LOVE in the law, not the letter. If we love the letter of the law we love the form of it, we love the idea of it giving us the power to save ourselves and when we love the idea of saving ourselves we are NOT loving God first, we are NOT loving others first.

Sometimes we call people crazy when they do something very obvious to hurt someone they love. We say things like, they had to know that would hurt.  And then if we ask that person about it they might say they didn't know, no one told them.

Our God wants us to love Him and love others and while maybe it should be obvious how this love is revealed, so many people weren't loving Him or others. God spelled it out, in His moral law He spelled it out for people. But people twisted it so they believed they were saving themselves by keeping the law. They lost sight of who saves, of what saves and that's love and GOD IS LOVE.

May we, through the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, know the LOVE of God, know the LOVE of loving others.

All by HIS grace and mercy!

Amen.

Satan will take you any way he can get you, he's not picky

A Christ follower gives up SELF.

And while some reading this might shout- "No way, ain't happening." - this is truth.

A Christ follower gives up SELF and all that means.

Giving up self does not mean giving up a tiny bit of yourself to God. Giving up self does not mean giving up a tiny bit of yourself to others.  Giving up self is a FULL surrendering, not a partial surrender.  If you think about it, when you need someone to trust you completely and they refuse by holding on to a bit of mistrust, who do they end up hurting? Themselves. Our refusal to trust completely ends up hurting us. That mistrust we love to hold onto, calling it a bit of self-preservation so we don't end up duped, hurt, or otherwise- can and does grow until it eats away at all the trust.  We yell that we've been hurt before when we've trusted completely and that person we trusted broke our trust. We yell we can't trust completely because what if, for just a fraction of a second, what if that trust is misplaced?  Giving up self completely, surrendering self to trust in God- some are definitely going to call you a lunatic. Some will tell you that God is most untrustworthy because time and time again horrible things are allowed to happen to God's people. God stands by and watches suffering of magnificent proportions so how can He be trusted? In fact many give up on God entirely because they believe He should never have allowed any suffering at all.  They believe if they had the power equated with God they would end all the suffering in the world instantly and everyone would live happily ever after.

They would MAKE everyone live happily ever after.

And that sounds good doesn't it? Forced to be happy.  Forced by an outside controlling influence. This is the kind of God people want, the forceful kind as long as it's a forcing of good things.

What's the problem with force?

Don't you know?  Can you figure it out?

We call people who are forced by anyone to do anything- abused.
Children can't wait to become adults and get out on their own so they aren't forced by parents to do things (yes, things that are NOT harmful to them in any way).
Forced love.
Forced happiness.

They sound so incredibly contradictory don't they? That word 'force' just ruins things because force kills choice.  And time and again people will try to explain why forcing is good for certain things and we can't refute them can we? Forcing parents to care for their children properly or having them removed from them- this is a good thing, right?  Forcing people not to kill each other or they'll be punished, another good thing, right? Forcing people to follow the rules of society, a good thing, everyone is happy, yes? I suppose it depends on the rules of the society because most assuredly following the rules of the Nazi society would mean completely obliterating people for not following their rules- one of which is not to be Jewish.  Force.  It is used all around us and for the most part we don't mind, it protects us the best way it can. Yet force will forever take away choice.  I might be forced into a marriage, that takes away my choice. I might be forced to believe my family's religion, that takes away my choice. I might be forced to eat a certain food for dinner- that takes away my choice.  Forcing takes away choice, taking away choice creates slaves.   And yes, we are all slaves to society's rules and we cannot break any of them without the possibility of repercussions.

God does not want to force a single human being into submission to Him, NOT ONE!  And anyone in the name of Jesus Christ who tries to force others to submit to God is NOT GOD'S!  Would you believe you were loved if you forced someone to love you? You might get all the trappings of what love is supposed to look like etc, but if you force someone to love you, you know they aren't doing it willingly and that takes something vital away from it all.

Mankind under Satan's deceptions has almost completely destroyed what it means to truly belong to Jesus, to be a Christian, a Christ follower.

Rev_12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

A remnant will exist.

Rev_11:13  And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

A remnant is a small portion.

Rom_11:5  Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Remember yesterday--

Mat_7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it

Few- a remnant is a few compared to the multitude.

Mar_13:20  And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Mat_24:24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The elect- the few- the remnant.

So yes, when people choose not to believe in the Savior, in God the Father, in the Holy Spirit I understand why they might do so if they are basing their choice not to believe on the false Christ followers in the majority.  The false Christ's reveal total hypocrisy in many ways as they wave their Christian flag. The wolves in sheep clothing are plentiful.

The truth as we are taught by the Holy Spirit- is FEW there be that find the narrow way! And ONLY by the grace of God will we be among those few.  To NOT surrender ourselves completely to God so that He may work in us His work, refining us, purifying us, washing us clean, is to choose to believe in a false God.  The false god will never call for a REAL complete surrender, and guess what? Satan doesn't care if he gets you on his side while he wears the garb of Christ, he'll take you any way he can get you, he's not very picky, no not picky at all.

Please, Father in Heaven, please we would be YOURS completely, teach us to fully surrender to You! Please be our all in all! Be in us DAILY as we die daily to self. All in the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior now and forever, we would live for You! Amen.
