From love we obey love!

Why should the unrepentant wicked be spared? Just because they were born?  Is being born the sole right to inherit eternal life? Did we have any hand in our own birth? Did we create ourselves? Because we didn't *ask* to be born should this give us the consolation prize of eternal life? Sort of like- how horrible that we were born into this awful world that we didn't ask to be born into so give us an eternal life of goodness, and no awfulness, to make up for our not asking for being born. Is that how it is supposed to work? Everyone should be given eternal life simply because they were born, they were created by someone else and not by choice, is this right?

What audacity!

Our lives are NOT scripted! We ALL, every single one of us have had to make choices between right and wrong. (Every single one of us mentally capable of making choices between right and wrong, there are those who aren't mentally capable- those who are too young, those who are mentally incapable through genetics/accidents etc.)   As we grew up from little children we began to understand the difference between right and wrong, yes? As we grew up we began to reason within ourselves the reason why things were considered right and wrong, yes? We were taught consequences of wrong decisions, sometimes because we were punished by those trying to teach us right and wrong, and sometimes because our wrong choice had results that were very unfavorable and not at all what we desired. Before we are capable of knowing right and wrong and capable of making that choice we are NOT accountable for our actions, how could we be? How can a person be accountable for something they are not capable of understanding?   However, once a person does comprehend the difference between right and wrong and chooses wrong over right, they are accountable for those decisions.

The first human sin was a choice, a decision made to disobey, to not believe, to do something other than what they were told to do.

Should God have destroyed His creation of humanity because they disobeyed?

There was a test of obedience and the humans failed that test.

The humans were AIDED in their decision though, they were INFLUENCED, they were TEMPTED. God did not induce them towards disobedience.

Would humans have disobeyed if they'd been left to their own devices? We'll never know will we.

Perhaps because we were influenced- tempted by that outside influence, we were allowed a second opportunity to obey. We weren't outright destroyed, something none of us can fully fathom just because we do and have existed for over 6000 years.  But for a moment think about being destroyed. Some have said that God should have destroyed us completely, end of story, end of humanity.  But they can only have that thought because they exist. Kind of like, easy to say but you weren't there and you aren't God so you couldn't possibly make that call.

Any good parent, and yes, I said GOOD parent because there are a whole slew of bad ones- any good parent comprehends wanting their child to live, to grow up into a contented, cared for, caring, loving adult who has a great balance in life. A good parent wants the BEST for their child and that doesn't necessarily mean they want their child to have riches untold, or fame, or anything overly materialistic. A good parent wants their child to be loving and to love, able to handle life and all its ups and downs without succumbing to anything detrimental to their wellbeing. A good parent does not want to destroy their child when they commit their first act of knowledgeable disobedience. A good parent does not want to destroy their child- ever because they have the hope their child will one day have that life of wellbeing. And this is US as children grown to adulthood full of past disobediences ourselves, not wanting our offspring to suffer. Yet, we as parents also know that even the best, most well-grounded parents have born children who go on to became horrific adults, it happens.  And yes, there has been the awful thought from these parents of wishing their child had never been born so they couldn't have committed the horrors, and they've wished their own children death so the horror can end- it has happened, but before they wished those things they wished most of all that their child could repent of their horrors and change, turn away from committing any more horrific acts. They wanted their child to live but not in the horror induced by the child.  This is all comprehension on a HUMAN level- human thoughts, human understanding.

God the Father is not human. Jesus was NOT human when the world was created. The Holy Spirit is not human.  These Gods are deities! And yes, one of these three Gods did choose to take on human flesh but this choice was made long before the God we know as our Savior did take on human flesh. Our Savior, NOT in human flesh, was there at the beginning and was part of creating us and all things. We cannot forget we are CREATED BEINGS!

We answer to our Creators!

Our Creators decided not to destroy us but rather give us another choice - another chance to obey or disobey.  And because the ultimate objective, the original objective of creation- was one of pure love this was STILL the plan.  Our Creators did not want a world filled with ENDLESS disobedience, that truly would be horrific. Our Creators want a world filled with ENDLESS love possible only through obedience, only through the comprehension that we are CREATED BEINGS - created for the purpose of love! Created for the comprehension of the pure love found ONLY in our CREATORS. Some call obedience slavery but it's not! A child obeying a parents command is not a slave to their parent. Obeying is not slavery! Obedience towards one who only ever has our wellbeing first and foremost in their minds, that stems from love, that is a true love, a comprehension that from love we obey love.

Psa 147:6  The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

The wicked humans will be ultimately destroyed and their wickedness is their choice, they ALONE have chosen their path of wickedness. They have made the choice not to truly love, not to obey love. They have made the decision not to choose love sometime in their life and holdfast to that choice so that they KNOW what they are giving up - love- and freely give up love.  NONE of the wicked would be happy in eternal life, in eternal love, their discontent would be a part of them forever. It is out of LOVE that the wicked will be completely and utterly destroyed so that they are non-existent, they never would have been content in the obedience of love.

Please, Father God in heaven, please we would we would obey love! We would obey YOU! All through Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ is it possible for us to obey love, because He is love, and He obeyed love and wants us to obey love! By His grace may we live through the faith given to us by Him, through the Holy Spirit right here and right now! Lord we believe! Help Thou our unbelief!

All in the name of Jesus Christ, now and forever our Lord and Savior!

Amen!
