Evil Was Given An Expiration Date.

The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Not my words-

Mat_3:2  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat_4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat_10:7  And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

John the Baptist- preparing the way of Jesus preached of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus preached all the way to the end of His life and beyond of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus instructed others to preach the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Today we continue to preach of the kingdom of heaven being at hand.

Some may believe it's ludicrous to hang on to such a long time coming belief. What those some do not realize is this-

2Pe_3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Time is irrelevant to the kingdom of heaven.

What I mean is, time is passing constantly. We live in a state of time ticking away endlessly. We live this way because we have an expiration date, time runs out for us. We live in a constant state of approaching death, and death is the end of our existence- temporarily for some, not so temporarily for others.

God is eternal, never ending, no dying, nothing temporary about Him. When you live in endless time the time passing isn't the same, it can't be.

I have a Creator, my Creator wanted me to be uniquely fashioned- not a god, yet created in the image of God, given uniqueness. In creating me He didn't want to make me and forget about me, put me on some planet and then take off for His next big project.  We do that. We create things and then forget about them. We often go from one thing to the next in our lives without much thought for what's left behind. We make something and then we might display it for a while then tuck it away when we lose interest in it, and then we might see if a few times after and eventually we will toss it in the garbage or give it away to see if someone else might want what we no longer want. We know all about creating something and not wanting it to be a part of our lives any more. God did NOT create us and want to discard us. When He created us it was with the intent of an everlasting unique relationship, a loving Creator prepared to remain so as long as it was what we desired. A knowledge of our creature state, a knowledge of a Creator who loves us, a willingness to live as beloved creatures comprehending out of love our Creator desiring our believing in His love for us. A need for us- these newly created beings to love willingly, to trust explicitly, to be the creature unique in our ability to live in God's image with a choice to choose love- this is what was given to us.

A choice implies things to choose from.

If there was only love there would be no other choice.  However a darkness appeared in existence and it was quickly determined the darkness would not be allowed eternity. Evil was given an expiration date.

How would this evil be crushed out of existence without comprehension of its true nature being against all God stood for, love? It would be crushed when it was determined that it could not overcome all love.  What was found out was the evil could and did draw one third of the angelic beings to its side. Two thirds- a majority remained in the love of God by choice.  Would the uniquely created human beings remain in the love of God by choice?

We know the answer to that one.

The kingdom of heaven is at hand….

More on this tomorrow by the grace and will of GOD, all through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!

Kingdom.

Kingdom of Heaven
Kingdom of God
Kingdom

Mat_3:2  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat_4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat_5:3  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_5:10  Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_5:20  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat_8:11  And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_10:7  And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Mat_11:11  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Mat_11:12  And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Mat_13:11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Mat_13:24  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field

Mat_13:31  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field

Mat_13:33  Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Mat_13:44  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

Mat_13:45  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls

Mat_13:47  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind

Mat_13:52  Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

Mat_16:19  And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Mat_18:1  At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

Mat_18:3  And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_18:4  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_18:23  Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

Mat_19:12  For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

Mat_19:14  But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_19:23  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat_20:1  For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

Mat_22:2  The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son

Mat_23:13  But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Mat_25:1  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Mat_25:14  For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

*

Mat_6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Mat_12:28  But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Mat_19:24  And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Mat_21:31  Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

Mat_21:43  Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Mar_1:14  Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

Mar_1:15  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Mar_4:11  And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

Mar_4:26  And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

Mar_4:30  And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

Mar_9:1  And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Mar_9:47  And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire

Mar_10:14  But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Mar_10:15  Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

Mar_10:23  And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Mar_10:24  And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

Mar_10:25  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Mar_12:34  And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

Mar_14:25  Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Mar_15:43  Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.

Luk_4:43  And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

Luk_6:20  And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

Luk_7:28  For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

Luk_8:1  And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

Luk_8:10  And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Luk_9:2  And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

Luk_9:11  And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

Luk_9:27  But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Luk_9:60  Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

Luk_9:62  And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luk_10:9  And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Luk_10:11  Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Luk_11:20  But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

Luk_12:31  But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Luk_13:18  Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it?

Luk_13:20  And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?

Luk_13:28  There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

Luk_13:29  And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

Luk_14:15  And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

Luk_16:16  The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Luk_17:20  And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation

Luk_17:21  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Luk_18:16  But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Luk_18:17  Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Luk_18:24  And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

Luk_18:25  For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luk_18:29  And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,

Luk_19:11  And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

Luk_21:31  So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Luk_22:16  For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

Luk_22:18  For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

Luk_23:51  (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

Joh_3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Joh_3:5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Does God Understand?

Does God understand the way we want Him to understand? What do I mean by that question? Well, I know throughout my Christian walk I've come face to face with several situations where I find myself thinking- God will understand.  I usually have that thought when I'm questioning something I'm about to do and have doubts about God's point of view on the situation. Or maybe I don't even have doubts but know that God might not find what I'm about to do acceptable, and yet I feel compelled to do whatever it might be and want a pardon for my actions ahead of time. I want to knowingly do something I either know or suspect might be wrong.  Now the question is…does God understand?

I want to answer yes, and answer it very emphatically. Already I'm saying it is situational, everyone's situation is different. It's relationship-able, depending upon the relationship I have with God.  We tend to imagine- as very fallible human beings- that we get a pass to be forgiven by each other when we do something wrong, right? How often have you said you were sorry because you messed up and hurt someone in some way- their feelings, or otherwise? I might say it daily- I'm a very forgetful person and that leads to a lot of apologies.

I was once told that I wasn't really sorry though, because if I REALLY cared I'd write things down so I didn't forget them. And you know what, part of me agrees and another part says- I'd be writing a novel if I had to write down all the things I shouldn't forget. Excuses? Probably. For the most part anyway. Who knows. I sure do not think…well, time to forget this or that. It just happens in spite of my best intentions.

I digress.

Does God understand. Again, I'm screaming internally YES, YES, YES He has to understand or I'm doomed!

Let me ask you this question… it's an important one…

Do you think God understands when we deny Him to save our lives? When forced to covert to another faith, to renounce Christ or be beheaded, or tortured, or imprisoned, does God understand the denial and secretly false conversion that is just for show in order to live? I imagine there are a lot of people who have faced that situation- maybe not here in the United States, but in other countries this is happening right this very second as I type this.

Does God understand?

Throughout the New Testament we have many dying rather than deny Christ, we call them martyrs.  Why didn't they deny their faith and tell themselves God understands and knows I secretly still believe in Him?

Jesus said this--

Mat_10:33  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Yet still, my mind screams, HE HAS TO UNDERSTAND!

Does He?

Really?

Does God have to understand our denials to His will, what we know, or suspect is His will?

You might be thinking at this point that you'd better just give up then because you are constantly fighting and failing against various sins and situations that are questionable.  I hope you don't, I know I (BY THE GRACE OF GOD) will not give up. I'm not even going to give up if I say outright, right now.. GOD will NOT understand, He expects us to obey not condone, not seek prior pardon. I'm NOT giving up!!!  I am going to continue to live my very messy life and continue to pray and HOPE beyond hope that I can be FORGIVEN ALL of my sins, and that the power of the Holy Spirit will guide me and give me ALL I need to belong to Christ. I am going to pull on my Christian armor, I'm going to fight the good fight, I'm going to run the race, I'm going to cling to the cross of my Savior, I am going to strive against sin, resisting unto blood all through the Holy Spirit's power because I have no good in me! I am going to pray that when every single decision comes that I must make and that warning bell rings, and the caution sirens sound  and I hear the words-  GOD WILL UNDERSTAND - that by the power of my Savior, because He lives in me and I was crucified with Him- I will choose to do what I know God will understand rather than what I hope He will understand.

Please, Lord Jesus, please, let me be Yours now and forever!

Create In Me A Clean Heart.

I have to say, these last couple of days have been topsy turvy with my daily schedule- and I miss my morning Bible study. Having it at night there are just too many distractions for me. Don't get me wrong, God is first. By His grace I was able to pray first thing and ask Him to guide me, to take all my plans and do with them as He willed(s). My thoughts turned to Him often, but it still wasn't a study time, a time to reflect on His word, to learn from His word. Why did I change the schedule, because I had things to get done and that was a time when I could. If I was wrong, God forgive me, if not praise God I didn't do wrong.  Saying God understands is easy for us to do. We have to, don't we? We want to believe that God understands our motives, our heart when we don't even know our own heart half the time. God, create in my a clean heart with clean motives and no guile in me whatsoever.

More tomorrow, by the grace and will of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, now and forever!

Spiritually Starving.

'The man is "saved," but he is not hungry nor thirsty after God. In fact he is specifically taught to be satisfied and encouraged to be content with little.'

Mat 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Hunger and thirst. Two basic needs we all have and we have these needs daily for the most part.

Have you memories of being thirsty, I mean really thirsty, so thirsty you begged for something to drink? I have. I remember it vividly. I was in the hospital and they denied me any food or drink for three days- yes, I had an IV in my arm but it wasn't the same. My body may have been hydrated but my thirst was awful, so awful I was begging those around me to give me something to drink. No one would. Thirsty. Begging for water… Thirsty. Begging for righteousness, for God. So thirsty my desperation was agonizing. Do I beg for God this way? Do I long for God in my life above all else?

I've been hungry before but never to the point of starving. That time I was thirsty, the thirst took precedence over any hunger I may have had. Hunger pangs are real, but lately I've been fasting and I notice the pains, grumbling, growling it all passes. Yes, it returns periodically but then is passes again. I've also notice that sometimes I'm a lot more hungry than at other times.  When I'm really hungry and I choose to eat, I know the eating will satiate the hunger, I can be filled that hunger can be assuaged. Just as thirst can be assuaged by drinking.

No, that food will not keep me from being hungry again any more than drinking will never make me thirsty again. I will continuously be hungry and thirsty for food and drink, and I need to be hungry and thirsty for God, but am I. And if I'm not hungry and thirsty for God then what am I? Why aren't I?

 The Pursuit of God quote-

'The man is "saved," but he is not hungry nor thirsty after God. In fact he is specifically taught to be satisfied and encouraged to be content with little.'

How can we be truly saved and NOT be hungry or thirsty for God?  How?

We need daily sustenance, we need sustenance even if it isn't daily. We need to feel hunger and thirst for God or else we are spiritually starving ourselves and when you starve yourself you die. You can live while you are spiritually dead, in fact many people are spiritually dead and they don't even know it. I don't want to be spiritually dead. I want to FEEL the hunger and thirst for God that I need so that I can be spiritually alive, feeding and drinking of God and His righteousness.

Please Lord, please help me hunger and thirst after YOU today, tomorrow, forever!

I Have Many Treasures.

I found these two quotes from the book - Pursuit of God- worthy of repeating and expounding on.

'Faith may  now be exercised without a jar to the moral life and without embarrassment to the Adamic ego. Christ may be "received" without creating any special love for Him in the soul of the receiver. '

'The man is "saved," but he is not hungry nor thirsty after God. In fact he is specifically taught to be satisfied and encouraged to be content with little.'

Imagine faith without a single jar to our moral life. Imagine being told you can live as you please, seek pleasure as it suits you, and still be saved, a Christian. We really don't have to imagine this, do we? It's the way the majority of people choose to live. Seeking self-satisfaction in every aspect of our lives. If we want something we strive to get it if at all possible- within our financial means of course, or without if we are able to borrow, use credit or otherwise obtain the funds. We are seldom content with very little. We pity those who have very little, we call them poor, deprived, sad and miserable. Are they always sad and miserable with their meager possessions? Do they spend their lives constantly lamenting their fate, wish they'd been dealt a different hand so they could have been among those with many tangible treasures.

Do you realize just how many treasures you have in your life? Seriously, do you?

We are told to lay up our treasures in heaven but truthfully we have a whole slew of treasures surrounding us. There is a holiday approaching, Christmas, and it is filled with treasure accumulation. Just how many new treasures are coming our way? We delight to receive and often we delight to distribute treasures too, don't we? I know I've made several gifts this year which in truth are treasures, to give to people. Is it wrong? I cry out, no, no it can't be wrong. Yet, these verses…

Mat 6:19  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mat 6:20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

And this verse… Col 3:2  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Treasures… I have so many compared to so many, and yet I have so few compared to many as well. I am blessed beyond measure with my treasures.

I digress, at the beginning of this little study I mentioned the belief that you can have faith without a jar to the moral life- you can have Jesus without any change to your life whatsoever- live as you please- and you know what? It is all LIES. People believe it's true, but it's not. To live for Christ is to live as Christ and Christ had moral standards as high as they come. We NEED to welcome the convictions of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and live accordingly heeding the reprimands, the chastising, the pain of our allowing sin to flourish in our lives. We cannot indulge our low moral standards, but ever seek the moral standard Christ would have us hold.

More on those quotes from the book Pursuit of God, tomorrow, by the will and grace of our Lord.

Please, Lord, we would be wholly Yours. Please let us use any treasures we may have for your glory, teach us how to do so, help us to be YOURS. Please let our morals be the same as Yours and no others. May You be our guide throughout our lives now and ALWAYS! We choose You, Lord, we choose You! Save us even from… especially from ourselves and the evils we indulge in. Open our blind eyes please! Please.

Thank you, Lord, thank you.

Our Actions.

Actions-

Know them which work among us for the Lord, those who may have more knowledge and understanding than we do ourselves. Think highly of them with the Love of God. Know that if you are admonished by them it's with good reason, for your growth in Christ.

Knowing, thinking, loving.

'And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.'

Actions:

Warn those who are upsetting.
Comfort those with feebleminds.
Support the weak.
Be Patient toward everyone.

Do NOT give evil for evil to ANYONE.

Follow good with each other and ALL.

'Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.  See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. '

Actions:

Rejoice always!
Pray without stopping!
Give thanks!

God wants us to do these things.

'Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing.  In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. '

Actions:

Do not hinder the Holy Spirit.
Do NOT despise prophecies.

'Quench not the Spirit.  Despise not prophesyings.'

Actions:

Prove ALL things.
Hold onto the good things.

'Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.'

Actions:

Do not appear evil.

'Abstain from all appearance of evil.'

IF we are using our actions for these things that we are admonished to use our actions for…. THEN…

'And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.  Brethren, pray for us. Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.  I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.'
