'Continuous daily expeirence'

The spirit which is of God.

We can receive a spirit.
There is a spirit of the world and a spirit of God. We need to receive the spirit of God. We need God's spirit so we can comprehend the things God would have us know.

So many believe that it is possible to comprehend God's will without God's spirit. They read the Bible backwards and forwards studying endlessly and obtain a wealth of knowledge but knowledge without the Spirit of God is useless in Godly matters.

There are many Christians who are not true Christ followers. There are a whole slew of people who believe in Jesus and salvation but do not have the spirit of God, but the spirit of the world.

We can also grieve away the Spirit so believing that you have the spirit of God, and will always have Him isn't factual either.

*******
We need to learn to walk by the Spirit.   Read the following excerpt from 'The Spiritual Man' By Watchman Nee.

'Walking after the spirit consequently becomes an occasional affair instead of forming a daily continuous experience in the Christian’s life. If the initial knowing of God’s will is so difficult, who can wonder at the lack of further and more profound revelation? How then can we ever truly know in our spirit God’s plan for the end of this age, the reality of spiritual warfare, and the deeper truths of the Bible'

Just reading those words, those questions, has caused me to know more of the Spiritual truth that is in God's word for us to know. I don't want my walking after the Spirit to be an occasional affair, I want it to be a continuous experience in my life.

We're going to study more on this and may GOD guide us, may the HOLY SPIRIT teach us! May our hearts and minds be opened to only GOD'S TRUTH for us.  We need the Spirit in our lives, we need Him desperately. We are living in a world that embraces the spirit of the world and they call it the spirit of God.

God please help us!

More tomorrow by HIS WILL!

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4.24).

1Co 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
